“C’è una fase di peggioramento oggettivo, noi stiamo un po’ meglio ma da ben 9 settimane i numeri crescono. Da qui – si riferisce al nuovo DPCM – parte la nostra valutazione”.

Sulla territorialità del Covid: “In primavera il virus aveva colpito essenzialmente un pezzo di Italia geograficamente circoscritto: la Lombardia e alcune province del Nord del Paese”.

“Oggi abbiamo una novità rilevante: non c’è più dinamica di territorialità, nessuna area è colpita in maniera marginale”.

“La crescita è diffusa, generalizzata, tocca tutti i territori, anche chi è stato risparmiato in una fase precedente”.

“Nessuna realtà può sentirsi fuori dai rischi che il Paese corre. C’è bisogno della massima attenzione in ogni angolo del Paese”, ha ammonito Speranza.

“Il 6 agosto erano 12.600 le persone positive. Oggi sono 58.903. In due mesi c’è stato un salto in avanti significativo”, ha sottolineato il ministro ricordando anche che le persone ricoverate in reparti Covid sono 3.487 e 323 i malati assistiti in terapia intensiva.

“Ad oggi sono numeri sostenibili per il Servizio sanitario nazionale rispetto ai giorni più difficili, quando avevamo 4mila persone in terapia intensiva, ma non possiamo non guardare la tendenza. In estate erano appena trenta”, ha fatto notare Speranza.

“Il virus circola – ha aggiunto – e continua a mandare persone in stato di sofferenza”.

“Il nostro obiettivo è tutelare e proteggere gli anziani e le fasce più deboli“.

Il ministro della Salute, Roberto Speranza, infine, ha concluso parlando di scuola: “Dalle scuole c’è stato finora un impatto basso, una buona capacità di tenuta”.
