Origine Covid – La posizione dell’OMS dopo la spedizione cinese per valutare come è nato il coronavirus: ecco le dichiarazioni e le reazioni. Le ultime notizie dal mondo aggiornate in tempo reale tutte le ultime news 24 ore su 24.

L’ipotesi più probabile per quanto riguarda l’origine della pandemia è quella della trasmissione del coronavirus dai pipistrelli all’uomo attraverso un altro animale. Così è scritto nella bozza del rapporto degli esperti dell‘Oms andati in missione in Cina, precisamente nella città di Wuhan, dove sono emersi i primi casi di Covid-19.

L’ipotesi della fuga involontaria del virus da un laboratorio è invece “estremamente improbabile”, sottolineano gli stessi esperti precisando che l’ipotesi di una fuga volontaria non è stata proprio studiata.

La trasmissione del virus dal pipistrello all’uomo attraverso un altro animale è valutata tra “probabile e molto probabile”. Un’altra ipotesi “probabile”, si legge ancora, è la trasmissione diretta dal pipistrello agli umani. Mentre l’ipotesi della trasmissione agli umani tramite la “catena del cibo freddo” è “possibile ma non probabile”. La diffusione del documento è stata più volte rinviata, il che ha sollevato il timore che il governo di Pechino abbia fatto pressioni per arrivare a conclusioni che non gettassero la responsabilità sul gigante asiatico.

Dopo aver letto il documento, il direttore generale dell’Oms, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, ha affermato che “tutte le ipotesi sono aperte e giustificano studi completi e ulteriori”.

Una posizione molto simile alle ultime già sostenute dall’Organizzazione mondiale della sanità dopo la spedizione cinese per indagare sull’origine del Covid.

Origine Covid, Antony Blinken risponde all’OMS: “Mancanza di trasparenza…”

In una intervista alla Cnn, il segretario di Stato Usa, Antony Blinken, ha espresso preoccupazione sulla metodologia con cui l’Oms sta stilando il report avanzando l’ipotesi che “il governo di Pechino apparentemente avrebbe aiutato a scriverlo”.

“Tutta quella mancanza di trasparenza è un profondo problema“, ha osservato Blinken riferendosi al modo in cui la Cina ha gestito la crisi. Blinken ha comunque garantito che l’amministrazione americana non adotterà misure punitive nei confronti di Pechino. “Le responsabilità per il passato – ha sottolineato – vanno verificate ma l’obiettivo adesso è costruire un sistema più forte per il futuro. Quello che dobbiamo fare – ha concluso – è garantirci che faremo tutto il possibile per prevenire un’altra pandemia”.
