I test del vaccino Pfizer-Biontech sui bambini tra i due e i cinque anni dovrebbero iniziare la prossima settimana. E’ quanto si legge in una nota delle due società.
Già iniziati invece i test per la fascia d’età compresa tra i 6 e gli 11 anni. In generale è prevista l’inoculazione di due dosi a circa 21 giorni di distanza in tre gruppi di età: bambini dai 5 agli 11 anni, dai 2 ai 5 anni e dai 6 mesi ai 2 anni.

È iniziato ufficialmente, invece, già da qualche settimana, il test Moderna. Precisamente, con le prime inoculazioni, è iniziato il test di fase 2 e 3 del vaccino anti-Covid Moderna sui bambini tra 6 mesi e 12 anni.
Nella prima parte della sperimentazione, che prevede che a metà dei soggetti venga dato un placebo, verranno testati diversi dosaggi. Ai soggetti tra due e 12 anni verranno dati 50 o 100 microgrammi, mentre a quelli tra sei mesi e due anni 25, 50 e 100 microgrammi, con quest’ultima che è la dose che viene somministrata agli adulti.
