Zaia critica il nuovo decreto.

Il governatore del Veneto si è schierato contro il nuovo decreto approvato ieri per la proroga dello stato d’emergenza.

Ma qual è il motivo?

Come vi abbiamo detto il nuovo decreto Covid lascia meno potere alle Regioni: queste ultime possono solo inasprire le regole ma non possono essere più permissive del Governo, se non in rare eccezioni.

“Meno Stato dove ci vuole meno Stato”, ha detto Luca Zaia.

Così ha commentato il Presidente della Regione Veneto il provvedimento per cui, con ogni probabilità, la Regione da lui amministrata dovrà rifarsi a norme anti-Covid statali.

“Nei mesi scorsi le Regioni hanno dato dimostrazione di grande senso di responsabilità. Il Veneto è stato l’avanguardia in tema di test pungidito, tamponi rapidi e in tanto altro. Sappiamo meglio noi cosa serve al nostro territorio”, ha spiegato Zaia al Corriere della Sera. 

Il governatore ha ricordato anche che nei giorni più duri della pandemia ha trascorso quasi tutto il tempo nella “war room“, pronto a intervenire in caso di bisogno.

Secondo lui, infatti, interventi adeguati e mirati possono essere presi solo da chi conosce bene il territorio e lo vive in prima persona: “La differenza è che a Roma ragionano sulla base di tabelle e di carte, noi abbiamo i malati fuori alla porta“.

“Ho grande rispetto per chi deve governare il Paese, ma vorrei che fosse garantito anche a noi”.

La parola d’ordine per Zaia è “autonomia“, da intendere come assunzione di responsabilità e non come sottrazione di potere, come pensano a Roma.

“Non ho voglia di fare casino, ma così non va bene. Lo dico costruttivamente: il governo ha ancora spazio per camminare a fianco delle Regioni. Non perda questa occasione”, ha concluso il presidente del Veneto.
