Crisanti annuncia la sua idea sulle prossime settimane. Il professor Andrea Crisanti, intervistato a Le Mattine di Radio Capital, è dell’idea che non si sta facendo abbastanza per capire come si sta muovendo il virus nel paese. Ecco le sue parole riportate da TPI:
“Il problema è che De Luca ha deciso di chiudere senza avere dei dati alla mano. Non sappiamo se ha fatto bene. È il momento di capire che cosa succede nelle scuole. Abbiamo i test rapidi: bisogna fare uno screening in alcune classi, sapere come e quanto è diffuso il virus negli istituti. Fino a oggi non è mai stato fatto nella scuola e non possiamo sapere se la scuola è un problema o no”.

Lei non può imporre in Veneto degli screening nelle scuole? Il Veneto non si fida più di lei?
“Decide la Regione e ricordo che il Veneto ha addirittura ignorato la app Immuni, questo è uno sprezzo della buona fede e nella fiducia nella scienza. La Regione non ha attivato il sistema per attivare i codici e i contatti: roba da terzo mondo”.
Il Veneto, dopo averla considerata la guida durante la prima fase dell’emergenza, ora la ignora?
“Non mi interessa, voglio solo fare il mio lavoro”.
Senta, sbaglio o non ci sono focolai specifici? Questo complica le cose?
“È un problema, un aspetto preoccupante. Accade perché durante le vacanze si sono create opportunità di contagio. Chi ha viaggiato poi si è portato il virus a casa e una situazione di virus così diffuso senza focolai da arginare è difficile da controllare”.
Tre cose che farebbe subito se potesse prendere decisioni in autonomia per il paese?
Uno: capire se le scuole sono un problema e poi prendere decisioni. Due: adottare misure graduali per bloccare la trasmissione. Tre: cercherei di far coincidere vacanze scolastiche e produttive con una pausa per abbattere la trasmissione. Nel frattempo ne approfitterei per fare un investimento senza precedenti nella sorveglianza attiva del territorio”.
Quella che chiama pausa sarebbe un lockdown?
“Chiamiamola pausa. E, come minimo, per essere efficace dovrebbe durare tre settimane”.
Come?
“Col potenziamento di strutture che fanno tracciamento e tamponi – ma non quelli rapidi, che non valgono nulla – e cercherei di incoraggiare la app Immuni, cercando di premiare chi la scarica facendogli fare il tampone più velocemente degli altri”.
