Non poteva truccarsi o mettersi una gonna. Doveva chiedere il permesso per uscire di casa, persino per andare da sua madre. Spiegare nel dettaglio i suoi movimenti anche solo per fare la spesa. È stata insultata, picchiata e umiliata dal compagno per cinque anni, pure di fronte alla loro figlioletta. E anche la bambina subiva i comportamenti violenti del padre: lui minacciava di uccidere il suo pappagallino se non avesse preso bei voti a scuola. Più volte ha anche puntato una pistola (era appassionato di armi e di tiro al poligono) contro di loro.
L’incubo, per lei e la figlia, è finito quando la donna ha trovato il coraggio di rivolgersi a un centro antiviolenza e di sporgere denuncia. Ora l’uomo, un ingegnere torinese di 44 anni (difeso dall’avvocato Benedetta Perego), è stato condannato a tre anni e nove mesi di carcere e dovrà risarcire l’ex convivente e la figlia con una provvisionale di 40mila euro.
Per controllare cosa lei facesse in casa aveva persino installato delle telecamere. Una, esterna, vigilava sul garage, per monitorare gli spostamenti dell’auto. L’altra, in salotto, era un occhio elettronico, collegato con un’app del telefonino, che madre e figlia vedevano spostarsi per controllarle a seconda dei movimenti. “L’avevo messa per sorvegliare il cane”, si è difeso l’uomo.
La vita quotidiana familiare era caratterizzata, secondo l’accusa della pm Barbara Badellino, da un clima di terrore. “Lui era molto possessivo, io non potevo mettermi le scarpe con il tacco, truccarmi, indossare una gonna – ha raccontato in aula la donna – dovevo chiedergli il permesso per qualsiasi cosa. Gli insulti, sempre i soliti, arrivavano per qualsiasi cosa: lui diceva che la casa non era in ordine, o che non ero brava come madre”.

Poi c’erano le aggressioni fisiche: schiaffi, pugni, anche due o tre volte a settimana. Per tre volte la donna ha avuto bisogno di ricorrere a cure mediche. L’episodio peggiore si è verificato nel 2014, quando l’uomo l’ha colpita con una violenta testata alla fronte dopo che lei gli aveva manifestato l’intenzione di andare a trovare sua sorella. In quel momento la bambina stava dormendo e non si era accorta di niente, ma lei aveva perso molto sangue, tanto che l’avevano poi dovuta ricucire con diverse graffette. Durante un’altra aggressione, l’uomo le aveva lussato un dito della mano torcendoglielo su se stesso solo per crearle dolore. Schiaffi, calci e pugni si accompagnavano agli epiteti più umilianti.
Anche la bambina era terrorizzata dal padre e dall’idea di farlo arrabbiare. Se non andava bene a scuola, lui la umiliava e minacciava di tagliare la testa al suo pappagallino. Una volta l’aveva preso in mano e l’aveva stretto fortissimo, poi l’aveva messo sotto l’acqua e le aveva detto: “Tu sei responsabile per questo pappagallino, se continui a prendere brutti voti vedrai che fine farà“.
Era solo lui a decidere cosa si potesse fare o non fare. Tra gli episodi raccontati in aula dalla donna, anche il fatto di non averle volute portare a Roma dove lui era andato per assistere a un comizio di Matteo Salvini a cui anche lei avrebbe voluto partecipare. “Ci vado da solo“, aveva stabilito ordinando alle due di rimanere in casa, per poi mandare alla moglie, sul cellulare, le foto della gente in piazza.
