Una donna di 37 anni è rimasta vittima di un incendio scoppiato intorno all’una di notte al residence Il Capodoglio di via Nicolini.
I poliziotti sono stati i primi ad arrivare sul posto, ma purtroppo non c’è stato nulla da fare. I vigili del fuoco sono arrivati verso l’1.10 con tre automezzi, un’autoscala e 17 uomini.
Le fiamme si sono propagate al secondo piano coinvolgendo anche i piani superiori. Pare che la donna, che viveva da sola e lavorava in una scuola elementare come inserviente, avesse provato a rifugiarsi in bagno. E’ possibile che a innescare il rogo sia stata una sigaretta.
I pompieri sono riusciti a raggiungere le diverse persone imprigionate negli appartamenti ai piani superiori. Un uomo, che aveva riparato sul balcone della propria abitazione ormai completamente avvolta dal fumo, è stato salvato con l’autoscala. Due ragazze sono finite in ospedale a causa di una lieve intossicazione. Due alloggi sono stati dichiarati inagibili.
