Conferenza stampa Conte oggi – Il presidente del Consiglio Giuseppe Conte tiene oggi, 30 dicembre, la consueta conferenza stampa di fine anno. Il tutto è organizzato dall’Ordine dei giornalisti in collaborazione con l’Associazione della Stampa Parlamentare. La conferenza si svolge dalle 11 a Villa Madama, a Roma.
Il premier traccia il bilancio di un anno gravemente segnato dalla pandemia di coronavirus, e sono molto attese le sue parole su alcune delle questioni più calde, dal piano vaccini alle possibili riaperture dopo l’Epifania, ma anche sul fronte più critico per il governo: il Recovery Plan e le polemiche con Italia Viva che minaccia la tenuta dell’esecutivo.

Nella conferenza stampa non è previsto un discorso introduttivo del presidente del Consiglio. Dopo un breve saluto Conte passerà direttamente alle domande dalla platea.

Verifica con forze politiche, quando pensa di chiudere la vicenda? “Dobbiamo affrettare delle risposte che il paese si attende. Le risposte più urgenti sono in merito alla legge di Bilancio. Prossimo passaggio urgente è il recovery plan. Non ci possiamo permettere di disperdere la credibilità ottenuta in questi mesi con gli italiani”.
Voto parlamentare per rafforzare il Governo? “Io ho la responsabilità di portare avanti un programma di Governo. Parlavo di un patrimonio di fiducia e credibilità che l’intera classe politica deve avere. Per rafforzare questa fiducia, bisogna agire in modo trasparente e confrontarsi in modo franco. Io non ho sfidato Salvini, io ho evitato che una crisi del Governo precedente si consumasse nel chiuso di un salotto. Fino a quando ci sarò io funzionerà sempre così, voglio che tutto sia fatto alla luce del sole”.
Questione Vaccini, come funzionerà il piano vaccinale? “Il Vaccine Day è stato un fatto concreto ma anche molto simbolico. Il commissario Arcuri vi ha anticipato un po’ come funzionerà. Noi abbiamo avuto per il primo giorno 9750 dosi iniziali. Poi avremo un piano di 470 mila dosi a settimana. Entro gennaio arriveremo a 2 milioni 450 mila. Si aggiungerà a fine gennaio poi anche un altro vaccino dopo quello Pfizer, ovvero quello di Moderna. A fine gennaio inizierà anche la distribuzione di questo vaccino. In Italia abbiamo fatto una scelta di grande prova democratica. Il Ministro della Salute è andato in parlamento che il 2 dicembre ha approvato il piano di vaccini. Innanzitutto gli operatori socio sanitari, poi i residenti e i personali delle RSA. Si tratta di 2 milioni di persone. A seguire abbiamo dato come indicazione gli ultra 80 enni. 4.4 milioni di persone. Poi passeremo dai 79 ai 69 anni. Poi a chi ha una patologia cronica, e poi sarà accessibile a tutti. I primi risultati veri a detta degli esperti li avremo quando terminerà la Fase 1 con 10-15 milioni di cittadini italiani vaccinati. Credo che accadrà non prima di Aprile”.
Questione scuola – “Come sapete abbiamo approfittato di questo mese di dicembre per compiere un ulteriore passo avanti per cercare di entrare in una logica di massima flessibilità. Abbiamo coinvolto i prefetti, istituendo tavoli che hanno lavorato intensamente con tutte le autorità coinvolte. Abbiamo compreso che il sistema è così integrato che non è possibile decongestionare i flussi che si producono anche attorno alla scuola per quanto riguarda il trasporto pubblico locale e scolastico. Non si può operare se non si integrano questi comparti diversi. Auspico che il giorno 7 gennaio le scuole secondarie di secondo grado possano partire con una didattica integrata, mista, con almeno il 50% di alunni in presenza. Ovviamente tutto in flessibilità, non bisogna mettere a rischio gli studenti o gli insegnanti“.
Modello italiano che non ha funzionato con tanti decessi ed economia al collasso? “Mi fate una domanda che richiederebbe una risposta molto lunga. Per quanto riguarda il numero di decessi lascio agli scienziati la parola. Quello che ci viene detto dagli esperti è che l’età molto avanzata della nostra popolazione ha influito. In Italia si invecchia male. Abbiamo una popolazione anziana con molti problemi. Inoltre siamo stati il primo paese europeo ad avere la prima ondata”.
Vaccinazione obbligatoria? “No, la escludo”.
Cosa succederà dopo la fine del blocco dei licenziamenti? “Tra gli scenari che ci preoccupano di più è questo relativo al post blocco dei licenziamenti. Abbiamo dato possibilità di aumentare gli ammortizzatori sociali con la cassa integrazione Covid fino a marzo e con il blocco dei licenziamenti. E’ chiaro che la Ministra con i sindacati sta già lavorando per lo scenario che dovremo affrontare dopo marzo. E’ uno scenario molto preoccupante. Fin qui abbiamo costruito una cintura di protezione sociale che più o meno sta funzionando. C’è una stima che ho visto fonte Banca d’Italia che parlava di aver scongiurato circa 600 mila licenziamenti. E’ chiaro che dobbiamo lavorare e continuare a lavorare su questi tavoli che sono già costituiti”.
