Autostrada A12, cade lastra di alluminio: tragedia sfiorata a Rapallo

Autostrada A12 – Tragedia sfiorata a Rapallo: ecco cosa ha colpito la lastra di alluminio caduta dall’autostrada in via Betti. Le ultime notizie dall’Italia e dal mondo aggiornate in tempo reale 24 ore su 24.

Una lastra di alluminio si è staccata dal viadotto autostradale che corre sopra via Betti, a Rapallo: dopo un volo di decine di metri, secondo quanto riferito dal Comune di Rapallo, la lastra è precipitata in un’area privata, colpendo un’automobile in sosta.

Nessuna persona era presente nei paraggi: sul posto sono intervenuti la polizia Municipale, altre forze dell’ordine e vigili del Fuoco; il materiale caduto dal viadotto è stato posto sotto sequestro. 

Autostrada A12, il commento del sindaco di Rapallo

L’amministrazione comunale riferisce di valutare la possibilità di azioni legali.

«Oggi abbiamo sfiorato la tragedia. Non si può più andare avanti così – ha commentato il sindaco, Carlo Bagnasco – Se la lastra avesse colpito una persona sarebbe probabilmente successo il peggio, mi vengono i brividi al solo pensiero. Abbiamo già potuto constatare, purtroppo nel peggiore dei modi, cosa succede quando si sottovalutano situazioni potenzialmente critiche. Il viadotto sovrasta una strada piuttosto trafficata nonché diverse abitazioni, i cui inquilini hanno già manifestato a più riprese la propria preoccupazione a fronte della caduta di calcinacci. Abbiamo ancora tutti negli occhi e nel cuore quanto accaduto a Genova il 14 agosto 2018. Vogliamo davvero aspettare che succeda di nuovo qualcosa di molto grave?».
