Un autobus che trasportava bambini e genitori è precipitato in un burrone in Indonesia. L’incidente sull’isola di Java ha ucciso 27 persone tra studenti e familiari. Il ministero dei trasporti ha confermato la notizia e il bilancio dei morti, confermando che l’autista dell’autobus ha perso il controllo del mezzo poco prima dello schianto. L’autobus trasportava studenti delle scuole medie e alcuni genitori. Delle persone a bordo ne sarebbero sopravvissute 39.
Indonesia autobus, le cause dell’incidente
I soccorritori hanno cercato di recuperare i corpi di altre vittime da sotto il fianco dell’autobus, rovesciato sulla strada. I sopravvissuti sono stati portati in un vicino ospedale mentre le operazioni di soccorso e ricerca sono state terminate qualche ora dopo con il bilancio delle vittime. La causa dello schianto non è stata subito chiara, anche se il ministero ha da subito dichiarato che i test di idoneità su strada per il mezzo non erano stati aggiornati. Secondo ulteriori aggiornamenti, però, a unirsi alle condizioni precarie del veicolo anche la strada. Il bus è infatti precipitato in un burrone di 20 metri dopo che il conducente ha perso il controllo del mezzo a causa del vento forte. Il veicolo stava tornando a Subang da un luogo di pellegrinaggio nel distretto Tasikmalaya della provincia.
Tredici feriti gravi sono stati sottoposti alle cure dell’ospedale e non sono ora in pericolo di vita. Sono moltissimi gli adolescenti morti nello schianto. Nel 2019 un incidente simile aveva causato moltissimi morti giovanissimi: 12 ragazzi erano deceduti quando un autobus è caduto in un burrone di 80 metri, schiantandosi poi in un fiume le cui correnti sono forti e veloci, in grado di trascinare via i corpi inermi dei ragazzini. Quello fu in vero e propriso disastro per l’Indonesia, che ha dovuto fare i conti con una nuova strage di bambini.
