Un piano per uccidere il figlio di William e Kate, il principino George, è stato sventato. Secondo quanto riporta Sky News sul suo portale web, un uomo arrestato per reati di terrorismo avrebbe confessato il piano durante un interrogatorio.

Sahayb Abu, 27 anni, oggi è sotto processo per aver pianificato durante i primi mesi di pandemia un attentato terroristico ed aver acquistato una spada di 46 centimetri e un passamontagna. La corte, secondo quanto riporta il portale di news, ha messo agli atti la testimonianza di un agente di polizia sotto copertura che ha riferito un dialogo tra persone che discutevano telefonicamente con Abu per organizzare un attentato.

“Lui voleva prendere di mira la famiglia reale – ha detto -. Qual era il suo piano? Andare da Sainsbury’s, mettere del veleno nei gelati che la famiglia reale (quella di William e Kate, ndr) andrà a comprare e che – molto probabilmente – George mangerà”.

Sahayb Abu è stato arrestato il 9 luglio 2020.

Intanto la famiglia reale, in queste ultime ore, è in apprensione per le condizioni del Duca di Edimburgo, marito della regina Elisabetta.
