Salvaguardare il Natale ad ogni costo, permettendo ai cittadini di festeggiarlo. Se pur con tutte le precauzioni del caso, in modo da poter dimenticare, anche solo per qualche giorno, un 2020 drammatico. È questo l’obiettivo dei governi e dei leader dei Paesi dell’Unione europea, mentre il continente affronta la seconda ondata di coronavirus.

Fatta eccezione per pochi Paesi, come Norvegia e Danimarca, dove l’allentamento delle restrizioni fa ben sperare per i festeggiamenti del 25 dicembre, nella maggior parte del resto d’Europa ci si prepara a pranzi e cene ridotti se non su Zoom.

Covid Natale Europa, le misure nel dettaglio

Dalla Spagna al Belgio, ecco le misure annunciate o già implementate dai governi nei principali Paesi Ue.

Spagna

Gli incontri sono limitati ad un massimo di sei persone. E il governo ha raccomandato di organizzare pranzi e cene in vista del Natale solo in ristoranti forniti di posti all’aperto o comunque in luoghi non al chiuso. Il ministro della Sanità, Salvador Illa, ha però avvertito che “nulla è scolpito nella pietra”. “Dobbiamo trovare un consenso sulle restrizioni natalizie. Quando sarà deciso annunceremo le misure“, ha detto. Il governo della Catalogna spera di consentire raduni fino a 10 persone per Natale. “Prenderemo le nostre decisioni”, ha detto una portavoce della regione. Mentre a Madrid, i funzionari chiedono al governo di approvare un programma di test di massa nelle farmacie nel periodo che precede il 25 dicembre per consentire alle persone di incontrarsi in sicurezza durante le festività.

Germania

Allenterà le proprie misure restrittive durante l’ultima settimana di dicembre. Dal 23 dicembre all’1 gennaio, al più tardi, saranno consentiti gli incontri con componenti “del proprio nucleo familiare o gli amici più stretti” per un massimo di 10 persone, con i minori fino a 14 anni non inclusi nel limite. Governo federale e leader delle 16 regioni hanno inoltre concordato di vietare gli spettacoli di fuochi d’artificio nelle grandi piazze e nei luoghi pubblici durante il Capodanno, e verrà raccomandato di evitare del tutto il loro utilizzo durante le festività. Il lockdown parziale continuerà fino al 20 dicembre, con bar, ristoranti e luoghi di intrattenimento chiusi, mentre scuole e negozi rimangono aperti. Misure che dovrebbero essere estese durante il periodo festivo. La maggior parte dei principali mercatini di Natale sono già stati cancellati, ma alcuni locali stanno delineando piani per andare avanti su scala ridotta.

Diversamente dal resto della Germania, Berlino prolungherà invece le attuali restrizioni per il coronavirus anche a Natale, limitando le riunioni private a un massimo di cinque persone, esclusi i bambini. Lo hanno riferito all’agenzia di stampa Dpa fonti del Senato di Berlino, spiegando che vi è consenso sul mantenimento delle restrizioni dato l’alto numero di contagi nella capitale tedesca.

Francia

Dopo settimane di lockdown nazionale, il presidente Emmanuel Macron ha annunciato che le restrizioni inizieranno ad essere allentate dal 28 novembre. Ma la maggior parte delle misure rimarrà in vigore fino a poco prima della pausa natalizia, il 15 dicembre. Negozi, teatri e cinema riapriranno in tempo per Natale e le persone potranno visitare le proprie famiglie durante il periodo festivo. “Potremo viaggiare senza autorizzazione, anche tra le regioni“, ha detto Macron. Il 15 dicembre, il lockdown lascerà il posto ad un coprifuoco a livello nazionale in vigore dalle 21 alle 7. Tuttavia, questo non si applicherà la vigilia di Natale e quella di Capodanno. Ristoranti e scuole non riapriranno almeno fino al 20 gennaio, e questo a patto che i casi giornalieri scendano sotto i 5.000. Bar, caffè e discoteche sono chiusi a tempo indeterminato. Le funzioni religiose saranno consentite dal 28 novembre con un limite di 30 persone.

Svezia

La scorsa settimana il Paese ha implementato alcune delle misure più severe dall’inizio della pandemia, vietando incontri in luoghi pubblici di più di otto persone e la vendita di alcol in ristoranti, bar e discoteche dalle 22. Skansen, il famoso museo all’aperto di Stoccolma, e il suo tradizionale mercatino di Natale saranno chiusi per la prima volta in 129 anni di storia.

Norvegia

Le attività non essenziali rimangono aperte anche se, in alcune aree più densamente popolate come la città di Oslo, sono previste restrizioni, come l’obbligo di indossare la mascherina protettiva. Secondo le norme attuali, le case private inclusi giardini e cabine non possono ospitare più di cinque persone all’esterno del proprio nucleo familiare. Le attuali restrizioni rimarranno in vigore fino all’inizio di dicembre.

Danimarca

La scoperta di un focolaio negli allevamenti di visoni ha spinto sette comuni ad entrare in lockdown, almeno fino al 3 dicembre. Tuttavia, alcune aree hanno cominciato ad allentare le misure da venerdì, consentendo la riapertura dei ristoranti e alle persone di spostarsi liberamente tra le varie regioni. Si prevede che il Paese scandinavo sarà uno dei pochi a festeggiare un Natale ‘tradizionale’, con servizi religiosi e cene di famiglia che dovrebbero svolgersi normalmente la vigilia.

Belgio

Mentre il Paese deve ancora delineare le misure restrittive che implementerà durante il periodo natalizio, il ministro dell’Interno Annelies Verlinden ha avvertito che la polizia “busserà alle porte” per assicurare il rispetto della legge, dicendo che gli agenti andranno alla ricerca di “inquinamento acustico, grandi assembramenti di persone e gruppi di auto parcheggiate davanti alle abitazioni”.

Austria

Un secondo lockdown nazionale sarà in vigore fino al 6 dicembre. Gli hotel sono chiusi ai turisti, i ristoranti possono solo offrire servizio da asporto e gli eventi sono stati tutti cancellati. La mascherina protettiva va indossata su tutti i trasporti pubblici e in tutti i luoghi pubblici, all’aperto o al chiuso. Sono esenti solo i bambini sotto i 7 anni. E’ inoltre obbligatorio mantenere la distanza minima di un metro da ogni persona esterna al proprio nucleo familiare, fatta eccezione per alcuni casi, come per gruppi seduti al ristorante o quando è impossibile rispettare il distanziamento sociale sui trasporti pubblici.
