E’ successo oggi 20 gennaio 2021 a Madrid, in Calle de Toledo, nel quartiere La Latina.
Ancora non sono state ufficializzate le cause del disastro che ha fatto crollare un edificio nel centro della capitale spagnola intorno alle ore 15.
In molti sui social network, in queste ore, si stanno chiedendo di cosa si sia trattato. “Attentato a Madrid?” o anche “Bomba a Madrid?” sono commenti facilmente rintracciabili sul web.

In realtà pare non trattarsi di un attacco terroristico. Il giornale El Mundo scrive che potrebbe essere stata una fuga di gas a provocare l’esplosione.
Intanto la zona è stata evacuata e circondata dai vigili del fuoco. Stessa sorte per la casa di riposo e la scuola che si trovano nei pressi dell’edificio esploso. I pompieri hanno immediatamente fatto evacuare gli anziani ospiti della struttura di riposo.
Telemadrid riporta che fonti di polizia alla Efe parlano di almeno tre morti nell’esplosione. I vigili del fuoco intanto stanno lavorando per cercare eventuali dispersi o morti tra le macerie.
Inoltre, in questo momento, il numero dei feriti sarebbe pari a sei.
E mentre si attendono aggiornamenti in merito, il sindaco José Luis Martínez Almeida ha escluso l’ipotesi attentato, con le dovute precauzioni, specificando che da valutazioni preliminari, le cause dovrebbero essere proprio legate ad una fuga di gas.
Quattro piani superiori dell’edificio sono completamente saltati. Persino i vetri delle finestre dell’Hotel Ganivet sono andate distrutte.
E mentre 9 squadre di pompieri ed 11 ambulanze sono al lavoro, iniziano a rimbalzare sui social le prime immagini dalla zona.
