Brutta avventura per George Clooney ricoverato per oltre venti giorni in ospedale. “Ho dovuto perdere peso troppo velocemente, sono dimagrito di quasi 14 chili in poco tempo e probabilmente mi sono preso troppo poco cura di me”, ha detto il premio Oscar al Daily Mirror. L’attore è stato ricoverato per una pancreatite durante le riprese del suo ultimo film “The Midnight Sky” di cui è attore e regista. “Ci sono volute alcune settimane per migliorare, e come regista non è stato facile perché ci vuole energia. Eravamo su questo ghiacciaio in Finlandia, il che ha reso il lavoro molto più difficile. Ma sicuramente ha aiutato con il personaggio”.

Nel film fantascientifico Clooney interpreta il ruolo di uno scienziato solitario malato di cancro che dall’Artico, dove lavora, dopo una catastrofe globale, cerca di contattare gli astronauti di un equipaggio per avvertirli di non tornare sulla Terra. L’attore, 59 anni, ha raccontato di aver avuto forti dolori allo stomaco e di essere stato ricoverato d’urgenza. “Mi è poi cresciuta una grande barba e mio figlio l’ha adorato perché ci nascondeva cose di cui non avrei saputo fino a quando non fossi arrivato al lavoro e avrei quindi detto: ‘Oh, c’è un ghiacciolo bloccato nella mia barba”, ha svelato l’attore.
