Speranza annuncia – “Non ci sono le condizioni epidemiologiche per abbassare le misure di contrasto alla pandemia, siamo all’ultimo miglio e non possiamo abbassare la guardia”. Lo ha detto il ministro della Salute Roberto Speranza al Senato riferendo sull’emergenza Covid.
“La presenza delle varianti – ha spiegato – condizionerà l’epidemia: la variante inglese è presente nel 17,8% dei casi e sarà presto prevalente e la sua maggiore diffusione rende indispensabile alzare il livello di guardia, ma fortunatamente non compromette efficacia dei vaccini.
Le altre due varianti sono più insidiose per la ridotta efficacia dei vaccini. La loro diffusione è minore ma è necessario isolare i focolai”. “C’è l’impegno del governo a congrui ristori per le attività che stanno soffrendo. Questo deve valere per le mie ordinanze che da ora andranno in vigore dal lunedì e per le misure regionali. Il prossimo dpcm varrà dal 6 marzo al 6 aprile e la bussola sarà la salvaguardia del diritto alla salute”.
Speranza annuncia le prossime restrizioni
“E’ decisiva la consegna puntuale delle dosi e l’Italia non si rassegna alla riduzione di queste. Con i vertici Ue stiamo esercitando il massimo di pressione verso le aziende affinchè si trovino soluzioni necessarie per aumentare la produzione dei vaccini. Vanno considerate tutte le soluzioni, nessuna esclusa”.
Speranza ha detto di valutare positivamente l’ipotesi di un portavoce del Cts. “E’ fondamentale mantenere un approccio di grande prudenza. Con questo livello di incidenza di casi abbiamo 5 regioni con terapie intensive sopra la soglia critica e l’Rt medio è 0.99, secondo ultimo rilevamento. Quindi l’Rt si avvia con le misure attualmente in vigore a superare la soglia di 1”.
“Le polemiche – ha sottolineato in un altro passaggio – disorientano i cittadini sempre più stanchi per questa lunga crisi, Insieme all’unità e alla responsabilità è indispensabile dire sempre la verità ai cittadini. Riconfermo un messaggio di fiducia: argineremo il virus con la scienza e il personale sanitario. I ritardi di alcune forniture di vaccini non muteranno l’iter in corso e vediamo la luce in fondo al tunnel”.
“Differenziare le misure su base regionale ci consente di agire in modo proporzionale e ci ha permesso di non ricorrere ad altri lockdown generalizzati, mentre altri paesi Ue ne hanno fatti due o tre. Ritengo sia utile anche alla luce delle varianti, favorire un nuovo confronto in un tavolo tecnico tra Iss e Ministero per delineare il quadro in cui siamo“.
Le varianti, dunque, spingono la diffusione del Covid – oltre il 30% delle infezioni in Italia è dovuto a quella inglese e a metà marzo sarà predominante in tutto il Paese, hanno detto gli esperti di Iss e Cts al premier Mario Draghi – e in diverse zone si materializza la temuta terza ondata.
Allarme alto, in particolare, nella provincia di Brescia, che diventa così zona “arancione rafforzata”, al pari di 14 comuni dell’Emilia Romagna; crescono poi le zone rosse in diversi territori mentre nelle ultime 24 ore si registrano altri 356 morti, ben 82 più di lunedì, mentre i pazienti ricoverati in terapia intensiva aumentano di 28.
