“La curva è in decrescita un po’ in tutto il Paese, anche se un po’ rallentata. Però ci sono paesi a noi vicini che mostrano invece una curva in ricrescita. Questo è un tema di grande attenzione ed è un grande incentivo a fare in modo che la nostra curva si mantenga in decrescita”.
Lo afferma il presidente dell’Istituto superiore di sanità, Silvio Brusaferro, alla conferenza stampa al ministero della Salute sull’analisi dei dati del monitoraggio regionale della cabina di regia sulla pandemia di Covid.
“Dobbiamo condividere un elemento di cautela nel presentare questi dati, visto che nel periodo natalizio il numero dei tamponi è più contenuto. Questo può avere influenza nell’incidenza, una vera valutazione solida dell’andamento durante le festività l’avremo intorno al 14-15 gennaio”, sottolinea Brusaferro, che entrando nel dettaglio della situazione delle singole regioni avverte: “Cinque regioni hanno una probabilita superiore del 50% di superare la soglia critica di occupazione posti letto in area medica in 30 giorni e tre regioni per le terapie intensive”.
ISS 31 dicembre, Gianni Rezza: “Situazione ancora critica”
Gianni Rezza, direttore della Prevenzione del ministero della Salute, però ci tiene a precisare. “Ci troviamo in una situazione in cui c’è una diminuzione dell’incidenza, ancora però elevata, ma una tendenza all’incremento dell’indice Rt. Quindi c’è una situazione incerta. Non dobbiamo dire che facciamo sacrifici all’infinito perché si è cominciato a vaccinare e non dobbiamo avere fretta, gli effetti delle vaccinazioni però li vedremo in tempi medio-lunghi. Solo nel corso dei mesi vedremo l’effetto di immunità di comunità. Occorre quindi non mollare nei comportamenti corretti”.
