“Dopo tanti annunci”, sul vaccino anti-Covid “finalmente ci sono state delle dichiarazioni concrete del ministro della Salute Roberto Speranza, e del commissario per l’emergenza coronavirus Domenico Arcuri, su quello che dovrebbe essere il nostro futuro. Mi pare che, almeno sulla carta, il piano possa funzionare. Ma il mio timore, tutto italiano, è che poi per piccoli ricatti o poteri regionali tutta la macchina si possa inceppare. Purtroppo fino adesso è avvenuto sempre così”.
Lo dichiara all’Adnkronos Salute la microbiologa dell’ospedale Sacco di Milano Maria Rita Gismondo, direttrice del Laboratorio di Microbiologia clinica, virologia e diagnostica delle bioemergenze della struttura, centro di riferimento nazionale per le malattie infettive.
L’esperta premette che “ovviamente stiamo parlando di qualcosa che ancora non abbiamo”, considerando che almeno per ora, in Ue e quindi anche in Italia, “il vaccino è una promessa, ancora da approvare ufficialmente. E soprattutto devono arrivare le dosi”. Inoltre “mi auguro che arrivino più vaccini, genici e non genici – auspica Gismondo – che si abbia la possibilità di scelta sul vaccino da farsi inoculare, e soprattutto che il meccanismo di diffusione sia tale da garantire pari diritto a tutti”.
