“Il lockdown fatelo per conto vostro; limitatevi alle attività fondamentali legate al vostro lavoro e vedete meno persone possibili”.
In un’intervista al Fatto Quotidiano, Massimo Galli, direttore del dipartimento di Malattie infettive del “Sacco” di Milano invita gli italiani a un comportamento responsabile per contrastare l’aumento dei casi di coronavirus nel nostro Paese.
“Mi auguro che i provvedimenti del nuovo Dpcm bastino, ma non lo so, e se qualcuno afferma di saperlo mente. L’unica cosa che sappiamo è che ad aver dato risultato è la chiusura totale, ma si vuole evitare. E lo capisco”, aggiunge.
Galli lockdown: “Impossibile fare previsioni”
Galli spiega al quotidiano che “dobbiamo preoccuparci di quel che succede da qui a venti giorni”, evitando, ad esempio, di pensare a cosa accadrà per Natale.
“Ogni previsione successiva è impossibile – rimarca l’esperto – Prima i dati, poi le date”.
Nella più negativa delle ipotesi, sostiene, “in molte parti d’Italia il sistema sanitario andrà in crisi e avremo un numero di morti pauroso, ma questo potrebbe ancora non accadere. Il tasso di ospedalizzazione non è quello di marzo e siamo diventati più bravi sia a curare sia a diagnosticare”.
“Se saremo più competenti la curva rallenterà, mi riferisco al sistema Paese colto di sorpresa e alle spalle dalla prima ondata, ma rivelatosi impreparato dalla seconda per non aver introiettato la lezione nell’estate passata” conclude il direttore del dipartimento di Malattie infettive del “Sacco” di Milano.
Sulla scuola
“Quanto alla chiusura delle scuole è la più dolorosa e difficile da decidere”, ammette Massimo Galli. “La differenza fra il 75 e il 100% di didattica a distanza alle superiori mi sembra una questione di lana caprina – precisa – però per quanto riguarda gli altri ordini capisco che tenere la didattica in presenza, oltre ad essere fondamentale per bambini e ragazzi, è necessario per dar la possibilità ai genitori di lavorare. Non mi è mai sfuggita l’importanza della didattica diretta, ma qualcosa va sacrificato”.
