Matteo Bassetti è un fiume in piena negli ultimi giorni.
Non è la prima volta che il direttore della Clinica di Malattie infettive dell’ospedale San Martino di Genova si lascia andare a commenti forti sul tema “gestione della pandemia”.
In un’intervista ad Adnkronos Salute, stavolta, Bassetti ha dichiarato quanto segue:
Nell’ultimo Dpcm ci sono molte cose che potevano essere fatte in maniera diversa.
Si è voluto colpevolizzare i contagi che provengono dalle persone che fanno vita notturna o vanno al bar, e questo è sbagliato.
Dalla mia esperienza in reparto vedo pochissimi di questi casi mentre vedo molti anziani che vengono contagiati in altri luoghi, come le Rsa.
Il virus circola e dare la colpa sempre a qualcuno, punendolo, è un modo sbagliato di intervenire. Meglio meno obblighi e più rassicurazioni”.
Mi aspettavo misure più decise, ad esempio, sui trasporti pubblici. Con un maggior distanziamento sui mezzi.
Sul versante delle feste in casa bastava dire di fare attenzione se ci sono persone anziane, e non stabilire un massimo di persone.
Un conto è dire che non puoi far entrare 6 persone in una casa piccola, altro è in una abitazione più grande e con spazi all’aperto.
Va bene che bisognava dare un segnale perché c’è stato un aumento dei casi, quindi bene la scelta dell’obbligo delle mascherine che va in quella direzione e ha trovato la comunità scientifica unita, ma su altre scelte andava fatto un lavoro diverso.
L’impostazione di punire e puntare il dito non serve. Occorrono più spiegazioni e meno divieti. Dobbiamo essere uniti e non fare muro contro muro.
Entrare in casa per controllarti crea blocchi contrapposti che non servono a nessuno.
Sulla capienza degli stadi si parla di 1000 spettatori al massimo e si sottolinea anche rispetto al 15% della capienza dell’impianto. Ma un conto sono 1000 spettatori in 8000 posti, ovvero il 15%, un conto in 80mila. Le distanze tra le persone sono molto diverse. Insomma in questo Dpcm si poteva fare di più sugli stadi. Ad esempio, guardando quello che fanno in Germania dove utilizzano un discorso di capienza diverso.
