Sara Lenzi perde la vita in un tragico incidente. Aveva 18 anni ed era una promessa del motocross italiano. A raccontare la drammatica ultima notizia è l’edizione online di Repubblica:

“Era una giovane promessa del motocross italiano, Sara Lenzi, 18 anni di Piombino. Ha perso la vita domenica 6 dicembre mentre partecipata al Sandalion Rally, il Rally sardo, appuntamento nazionale del Raid TT valevole anche come settima e ottava prova di Campionato Italiano Motorally 2020″.

“L’incidente è avvenuto n provincia di Nuovo: Sara era in sella alla sua Beta del Team Beta Dirt Racing, sulla strada Iscala Pedrosa, tra Alà dei Sardi e Monti”.

“Viaggiava per una strada interna in parte sterrata in parte asfaltata: era una tappa di trasferimento della gara. All’improvviso la giovane motociclista si è trovata davanti un suv Honda grigio e malgrado la frenata non è riuscita ad evitare l’impatto”.

“Nella caduta ha battuto contro la carrozzeria anteriore dell’auto e il casco, secondo quanto è statao possibile ricostruire fin qui (le indagini sono in corso) è volato via non proteggendola da un secondo impatto al suolo. Quando sono arrivati i soccorsi per la ragazza era già tardi. Sara era seconda nella classifica femminile”.

“Sara era nata a Piombino e frequentava lì un istituto tecnico. Molti i messaggi di cordoglio scritti sui social e arrivati alla sua famiglia, i gentori hanno uno storico forno a Venturina. Sara lascia anche una sorella e due fratelli più piccoli”.
