Morte Gianfranco De Laurentiis 14 ottobre 2020. Oggi le ultime notizie dal mondo RAI e del giornalismo sportivo, riportano un grave lutto. E’ scomparso all’età di 81 anni il volto storico della Rai Gianfranco De Laurentiis. A partire dal 1977 fino al 1994, ha condotto Eurogol, la rubrica del Tg2 sul panorama delle coppe europee, insieme a Giorgio Martino.
Ma soprattutto dal 1987 al 1996 è stato l’anima di Domenica Sprint, che ha guidato assieme ad altri colleghi che gli sono ruotati attorno. Dal 1993 al 1994 è stato il direttore della TGS, la testata sportiva della Rai, e nella stagione 1994-1995 ha condotto La Domenica sportiva.
Morte Gianfranco De Laurentiis, il cordoglio di Antonella Clerici
La notizia ha sconvolto tutti i suoi ex colleghi e i suoi appassionati fan, in particolare Antonella Clerici. La nota conduttrice Rai aveva infatti iniziato la sua avventura in Rai come giornalista sportiva proprio sotto la guida di De Laurentiis.
La Clerici è stata avvisata della scomparsa durante la diretta di “E’ sempre Mezzogiorno” su Rai 1, rientrando attonita e sconvolta dalla pubblicità. Immediato lo stop per qualche minuto al programma, con la Clerici che ha voluto rendere omaggio con queste parole a De Laurentiis:
“Vi avevo detto che oggi mi sentivo strana, avevo un malessere, non sapevo cosa fosse. Ora durante la pubblicità mi hanno detto che è morto il mio amico di sempre Gianfraco De Laurentiis”.
“E’ stata la prima persona che ho conosciuto a Roma nel 1990 quando sono arrivata ragazzina a fare Dribbling per i mondiali d’Italia. Mi ha adottato nella sua famiglia, con sua moglie Mirella e i loro figli. Immagino la sofferenza della sua famiglia e di tutta Rai Sport, per me era davvero un papà.
“Sono senza parole, la vita passa attraverso di noi, purtroppo è un periodo dove non c’è mai una buona notizia. In questa foto eravamo giovanissimi, durante Dribbling nel 1990. Ero sempre con lui, qualsiasi dubbio avessi chiamavo sempre Gianfranco perché era una enciclopedia. Lui era un matematico vivente, si ricordava tutto”.
“Questa notizia è un fulmine a ciel sereno, non so cosa gli sia successo. Ho saputo la notizia adesso in diretta. Mi scuserete se non sarò proprio al mio massimo in questo finale di trasmissione. So che c’è tanta sofferenza in tante case, ogni volta che noi apriamo un telegiornale sentiamo sempre brutte notizie. Chiudo dicendo che Gianfranco per me è stato un, maestro, un amico e un papà”.
