Messaggio di Conte agli italiani da Assisi. Ultime notizie Coronavirus Italia. Il premier Giuseppe Conte è giunto questa mattina ad Assisi per partecipare alle celebrazioni per San Francesco. Con lui anche il Ministro degli Esteri Luigi Di Maio. Il premier ha colto l’occasione per prendere la parola e mandare un messaggio agli italiani:
Ecco le sue parole riportate dall’Ansa: “L’Italia che sta faticosamente uscendo dalla pandemia dovrà essere una comunità rigenerata: il nemico non è stato ancora sconfitto, siamo consci che non possiamo disperdere i sacrifici compiuti”.

Il premier è subito entrato nella Basilica Superiore di San Francesco assistere alla celebrazione.
Padre Mauro Gambetti, Custode del Sacro Convento di Assisi, è intervenuto in un’omelia sempre per la festa di San Francesco: “Questo nostro mondo è in balia delle onde della globalizzazione selvaggia e dei nazionalismi irrazionali. Se vogliamo preparare il futuro, occorre anche guardare lontano”.
“Quello marchigiano può essere un modello per l’Italia che vuole rinascere – ha detto Gambetti -, ma non sarà sufficiente, come gli stessi cittadini delle Marche sperimentano nei loro territori. Viviamo infatti in una comunità globale. Siamo tutti su una barca che potrà restare a galla con alcuni accorgimenti, ma che è ancora senza un timone e non sa dove andare”.
“Ieri Papa Francesco ha firmato sulla Tomba del Poverello la sua terza enciclica: ‘Fratelli tutti’. Un dono immenso che addita la linea di orizzonte, l’approdo sicuro e felice per l’umanità. La fraternità è l’humus esistenziale che, come il grembo di una madre, custodisce, nutre ed orienta la nascita”.
“Pensare l’economia e l’ecologia, i rapporti internazionali e quelli interni, le leggi e l’educazione, l’infosfera e il digitale, l’impresa e il commercio, la sanità e lo sport… nell’orizzonte dell’umanesimo fraterno è la sfida di oggi per il domani ed è uno spartiacque”.
“Non c’è più spazio – ha sottolineato Gambetti – per forme di compromesso nel tempo della comunità globale: o con i fratelli o contro i fratelli”.
