Parola di Andrea Crisanti. L’esperto, professore di microbiologia e virologia all’Università di Padova, ha parlato di pandemia di Covid-19 in Italia, partecipando come ospite alla trasmissione Un giorno da pecora in onda su Radio 1 oggi pomeriggio, 26 gennaio 2021, lasciandosi andare anche ad una previsione su come saranno i prossimi mesi. In particolare sull’estate, durante la quale dovremmo essere prudenti, molto più dello scorso anno, per non vanificare i risultati della campagna vaccinale.

“D’estate dovremo essere più cauti rispetto allo scorso anno, speriamo di poter andare in spiaggia. Israele andò in lockdown per la seconda volta a fine agosto, e lì c’è un clima simile all’Italia. Se sono chiusi cinema, bar e teatri non si capisce perché dovrebbero esser aperte le spiagge“.

Anche se, a differenza di queste ultime, le spiagge sono all’aperto.

Estate 2021 Covid, Crisanti: “Inutile porsi il problema delle spiagge, tanto ci saranno zona arancione e rossa”

“Anche le discoteche in Sardegna si diceva che erano all’aperto – ha sottolineato l’esperto -. Ma tanto se questa estate si faranno le zone arancioni o rosse non si porrà nemmeno il problema“. Anche perché “la suddivisione in zone ci lascerà in questa situazione intermedia, con questo numero di casi e di 300 morti al giorno circa, numeri un po’ più bassi che vedremo tra un paio di settimane”, ha aggiunto.

Sulla vaccinazione ha precisato: “Io ho già fatto la seconda dose del vaccino, ora dovrei essere immune. Con la seconda dose mi ha fatto solo male un po’ il braccio, niente di che, giusto mezza giornata, per il resto tutto ok”.

Attenzione, infine, anche a cosa sta succedendo nel governo con le dimissioni di Giuseppe Conte come presidente del Consiglio. “Andare a votare – ha detto Crisanti  – credo sia un azzardo, non tanto per la votazione in sé ma per i comizi e tutto il resto, le elezioni non sono solo l’atto del voto. L’America ad esempio ha pagato caro il voto, c’è stata un’impennata di contagi”.
