Bassetti minacciato, la Digos lo mette sotto “scorta”

Bassetti minacciato – L’intervento della Digos per proteggere il professor Matteo Bassetti dopo le minacce ricevute. Le ultime notizie dal mondo e dall’Italia sul coronavirus tutte le ultime news di attualità aggiornate in tempo reale.

Nuove minacce al direttore di Malattie Infettive dell’ospedale San Martino di Genova Matteo Bassetti. E’ stato lo stesso Bassetti a denunciare questa mattina l’accaduto in un post sulla sua pagina Facebook. Le minacce sono al vaglio della Digos che sta monitorando la situazione e seguono quelle di un mese fa, quando Bassetti decise di presentare denuncia per diffamazione e minacce aggravate.

Da alcuni giorni per Bassetti su disposizione della Prefettura è stata disposta la ‘vigilanza dinamica’. Non una scorta vera e propria bensì una particolare attenzione ai luoghi maggiormente frequentati dal medico, ormai vero e proprio influencer sui social. Vale a dire la sua abitazione e il reparto di Malattie infettive al San Martino dove lavora, con frequenti passaggi delle pattuglie di polizia e carabinieri nell’ambito delle attività di controllo del territorio.

Queste le parole di Matteo Bassetti su Facebook:

“Le mie posizioni sui vaccini e, di recente, il mio contradditorio rispetto alle idiozie, formulate da un ciarlatano durante una trasmissione televisiva, hanno portato un importante traffico sulla mia pagina FB e Ig.
Nelle ultime 48 ore ho ricevuto insulti di ogni tipo, minacce alla mia persona e persino minacce di morte.
Ogni singolo messaggio è stato inviato alla Polizia Postale e della DIGOS per le indagini del caso. I responsabili saranno perseguiti a norma di legge.
Chiunque deciderà liberamente di continuare sarà prima denunciato alle forze dell’ordine e poi bannato da tutti i miei spazi social.
Questo è il risultato delle posizioni anti-scientifiche e delle affermazioni idiote di pseudo-colleghi che meriterebbero immediati provvedimenti da parte delle Istituzioni”.

La solidarietà di Toti

A Bassetti arriva la solidarietà del governatore Giovanni Toti, destinatario di una lettera minatoria. “Vittima dei soliti leoni da tastiera che sui social, oltre agli insulti, si sono spinti persino alle minacce di morte”, commenta Toti stamani su Facebook. “Un comportamento inaccettabile che fa sempre male ma ancora di più stupisce quando è rivolto a chi ci sta aiutando da mesi nella lotta contro il virus ed è ‘colpevole’ solo di aver sempre espresso chiaramente il proprio pensiero”.

Bassetti è molto noto al grande pubblico anche per le sue frequenti apparizioni televisive, sin dall’inizio della pandemia, poco meno di un anno. Le sue analisi spesso hanno diviso l’opinione pubblico. In alcuni momenti Bassetti è stato accusato persino di essere un negazionista del Covid. Anche se in realtà, ancora negli scorsi giorni, con il rientro della Liguria in fascia gialla, ha messo in guardia i cittadini dal pericolo di altre ondate. Ha raccomandato “comportamenti scrupolosi nel rispetto delle regole. Ed ha ricordato che forse solo in estate, quando dovrebbero essere vaccinati tutti gli anziani over 80, si potrebbe davvero vedere la luce in fondo al tunnel.

A Genova gli hanno persino dedicato un’opera di street art, apparsa proprio oggi sulla saracinesca di un bar nei caruggi del Centro storico.
