Matteo Bassetti, direttore della Clinica di Malattie infettive dell’ospedale San Martino di Genova e componente dell’Unità di crisi Covid-19 della Liguria, si esprime così all’Adnkronos Salute mentre il premier incaricato Mario Draghi è impegnato nella formazione del nuovo esecutivo.
“Il professor Draghi è una persona di valore eccezionale – aggiunge Bassetti -. Penso che farà molto bene per l’Italia. Io amo questo Paese e l’ho servito lavorando per il Ssn, sarebbe un grande orgoglio servirlo in un ruolo diverso. Non potrei dire di no ad una chiamata di questo tipo”.
Bassetti è uno degli esperti più noti visti i suoi interventi, in tv e non solo, sul tema della pandemia. Il suo nome viene accostato dai media al ministero della Salute, insieme a quello di altri specialisti saliti alla ribalta nell’ultimo anno.
