Bimbo si impicca a casa. Una notizia tremenda che giunge in queste ore. Il motivo di questo gesto estremo fa ancor di più riflettere. L’isolamento dovuto al lockdown lo ha fatto cadere in una profonda depressione, che alla fine lo ha spinto a compiere il suicidio. A trovarlo è stata la madre, di 40 anni, che mentre rientrava a casa ha trovato suo figlio impiccato in camera.
A riportare la notizia è l’edizione online de Il Mattino. La madre quarantenne Tracey Tyler ha trovato il figlio Sam impiccato nella sua cameretta lo scorso 25 maggio. Una mattina la donna, che lavora in ospedale, è tornata a casa dopo il turno di notte e le è crollato il mondo addosso. Entrando nella cameretta del figlio infatti, ha trovato il ragazzino impiccato e senza vita.

Dopo quattro mesi dal tragico evento, Tracey Tyler ha trovato la forza e il coraggio di rilasciare delle dichiarazioni alla stampa inglese. Come riporta Il Mattino, la donna ha rivelato che suo figlio aveva avuto problemi psicologici dovuti all’isolamento vissuto durante il lockdown. Mai però avrebbe immaginato che sarebbe arrivato a questo gesto estremo.
“Durante il lockdown ha giocato ai videogiochi online coi suoi amici. Ridevano e scherzavano insieme, pianificavano anche di andare a pescare insieme quando il lockdown sarebbe finito”. Secondo quanto riportano i media inglesi, anche la sera del suicidio Sam era intento a giocare coi suoi amici ai videogiochi online, il quattordicenne avrebbe in seguito detto agli amici: “Torno fra due secondi”. Ma non è mai più riapparso online.
“Credo che se avesse potuto andare a scuola e vivere una normale routine, tutto questo non sarebbe successo”, ha detto la madre Tracey Tyler. “Era un teenager normalissimo. Era popolare fra i coetanei, aveva una fidanzata e andava bene a scuola. Accettare che abbia deciso di togliersi la vita, senza lasciarci alcuna spiegazione, è dura. Il mio cuore è spezzato”.
