Nel corso della puntata trasmessa sabato 2 gennaio il pacco della coppia che gioca per tentare la fortuna appare – nel bel mezzo della puntata – già aperto. Mancano ancora sette pacchi da aprire quando quello dei due concorrenti, che hanno il pacco numero 2, è improvvisamente con il filo staccato dalla ceralacca, che ne sigilla la chiusura.
Subito dopo, il pacco riappare “magicamente” chiuso. Brogli? Niente affatto ma solo una terribile gaffe in fase di montaggio. Come spiegato da Davide Maggio, il pacco della coppia risulta inspiegabilmente aperto durante l’intervento del comico Angelo Pintus, evidentemente registrato alla fine e poi “montato” in un altro momento della puntata. Una prassi assai comune tra le trasmissioni che vengono registrate e non vanno in diretta.

A testimoniare che è stato fatto un errore in fase di montaggio ci sono il bicchiere e la bottiglietta d’acqua messi a disposizione dei due concorrenti, che “cambiano posizione” quando il pacco risulta aperto e subito dopo chiuso; la stessa, non a caso, si può notare al termine della puntata, con i giochi fatti e i pacchi tutti aperti.
Tra l’altro, c’era ben poco da vedere nell’incriminato pacco numero 2 della coppia: conteneva solo 25 euro e i due hanno rifiutato 45.000 euro pur di arrivare ad aprirlo. Dunque, nessuna scorrettezza ma solo un errore di distrazione. Gaffe a parte continua il successo di Affari tuoi (Viva gli sposi) con Carlo Conti: le prime due puntate hanno appassionato ben cinque milioni di telespettatori.
