Super variante tanzaniana Covid – Una super variante tanzaniana del covid è stata individuata in un aeroporto dell’Angola in tre viaggiatori che provenivano dalla Tanzania. Secondo gli studiosi si tratterebbe della variante del coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 più mutata in assoluto fra quelle censite finora, anche se allo stato non esistono studi completi per accertare se e come quelle mutazioni possano aver influito sui parametri di “attacco” della malattina sull’uomo.
Ad ogni modo la “super variante” tenzaniana è connotata da ben 34 mutazioni, 13 della quali sono avvenute sulla proteina “Spike”, cioè sul “gancio” che il coronavirus usa per legarsi al recettore ACE 2 delle cellule umane. E’ esattamente in quel punto che il virus, dopo aver rotto la membrana cellulare, “sgancia” il suo rna nella cellula e la infetta replicandosi.
