Sileri a Domenica In – “Per Pasqua avremo 12-13 milioni di dosi di vaccino somministrate. L’Italia arriverà a 500.000 dosi” quotidiane “a metà a metà aprile: sarà così”.
Il sottosegretario alla Salute, Pierpaolo Sileri, a Domenica In si esprime così sulla campagna di vaccinazione contro il coronavirus.
L’Italia si prepara ad affrontare le vacanze di Pasqua con misure restrittive in particolare per i giorni tra il 3 e il 5 aprile, con zona rossa nazionale. “La situazione è in lieve miglioramento se si analizzano i numeri. I sacrifici stanno dando i primi frutti che si consolideranno dopo Pasqua, servono almeno due settimane per migliorare ulteriormente i dati. Si tratta dell’ultimo sforzo”, dice Sileri.
“Rispetto a gennaio e rispetto allo scorso autunno abbiamo una vaccinazione che sta dando frutti in termini numerici: chi si vaccina oggi, tra un mese è protetto con una dose. La seconda darà poi un’immunità migliore. Chi si vaccina, non rischia più la malattia severa. I 380 morti che osserviamo oggi sono un dramma, ma tra un mese i numeri non saranno più così. Dalla fine di aprile, la situazione sarà notevolmente diversa. Vedrete che passeremo un’estate molto diversa”, dice, prima di soffermarsi sulla campagna di vaccinazione in maniera più dettagliata.

“Circa la metà degli over 80 ha ricevuto la prima dose, il 25% ha ricevuto entrambe le dosi: questi numeri stanno crescendo in maniera importante. E’ chiaro, sono stati fatti errori. Ma la forza di una nazione si percepisce quando tutti si stringono attorno alle istituzioni. Per Pasqua avremo 12-13 milioni di dosi di vaccino somministrate”.
Le differenze tra regioni, osserva Sileri, si vanno assottigliando. “Il Lazio sta facendo un ottimo lavoro. La Lombardia? Non ho mai puntato il dito contro la Lombardia. I numeri stanno crescendo. Ci sono stati problemi nelle scorse settimane, ma i dati ora sono in linea con quelli delle regioni che stanno andando meglio. La Lombardia ha recuperato nelle ultime settimane e colmerà i disagi che si sono verificati anche prima. Anche la Calabria sta colmando il gap. L’Italia sta facendo il salto di qualità che era atteso. L’Italia arriverà a 500.000 dosi a metà a metà aprile, nessuno dovrà restare stupefatto. Sarà così”.
E’ in arrivo un provvedimento che prevede l’obbligo di vaccinazione per il personale sanitario che è a contatto con i malati. “Il personale sanitario che rifiuta il vaccino è incompatibile con il lavoro che svolge. Il personale sanitario non può dire che il vaccino fa male, è totalmente incompatibile con il percorso di studi e con la missione che si svolge. Io ho tolleranza zero. E’ inaccettabile in questo momento una situazione del genere”, dice Sileri. “Si sta lavorando ad un provvedimento che vedrà la luce nei prossimi giorni, aspettiamo che venga perfezionato”.
