Ricoveri Covid Campania, il Dott. Perrella: “Non c’è alcuna tensione negli ospedali, i positivi sono ricoverati per altre patologie”

Ricoveri Covid Campania – Alessandro Perrella, infettivologo dell’ospedale Cardarelli di Napoli, ha rilasciato una intervista a La 7. Il dottore, in collegamento video dall’ospedale nel corso del programma L’Aria Che Tira, ha risposto alle domande della conduttrice Myrta Merlino.

Le parole di Perrella hanno di fatto smentito le ultime notizie relative ad una situazione pesante negli ospedali campani in merito ai ricoveri da Covid, smentendo le ipotesi della stessa conduttrice. Ecco le parole di Alessandro Perrella a L’Aria Che Tira:

Domanda: “In Campania il contagio è molto salito negli ultimi tempi, il Cotugno è già in una situazione di grande tensione?”

Perrella: “Precisazione, io lavoro al Cardarelli ora. Ma non c’è alcuna pressione sugli ospedali in Campania. Abbiamo dato vita al piano C, che prevede un ampiamento dei posti a disposizione. Non c’è una saturazione dei posti al momento”.

“Va sottolineato come la maggior parte dei soggetti positivi al Covid siano asintomatici, ma soprattutto va detto come quelli che abbiamo in ospedale sono giunti lì per altre patologie e per altre cure”.

“Nell’ambito di un protocollo regionale che si chiama “protocollo ospedale sicuro”, facciamo degli screening e li troviamo positivi al Covid. Anche questi pazienti infatti erano asintomatici”.
