Ospite della trasmissione su La7, L’aria che tira, il virologo Fabrizio Pregliasco, ha risposto ad alcune domande riguardo il vaccino anti Covid.
Ecco un estratto della sua intervista:
Dottor Pregliasco anche lei crede che non sia necessario l’obbligo vaccinale? E’ un errore dei media dar peso a voci isolate o serve qualcosa di più che la semplice persuasione rispetto ad una sfida importante?
“Concordo sul vedere cosa accadrà nel breve, anche riguardo la disponibilità. Io nel mio ospedale vedo una gran voglia di vaccinarsi. Sarà necessario di sicuro un accompagnamento positivo. Perchè purtroppo i vaccini hanno sempre un difetto. Se noi abbiamo un mal di denti feroce, siamo disposti ad ingurgitare qualsiasi pillola che ci viene prospettata, senza leggere il bugiardino. Eppure anche gli antidolorifici hanno gli effetti collaterali. Il vaccino invece ha un approccio diverso. Stando bene bisogna credere alla scommessa dell’opportunità della vaccinazione che purtroppo, a differenza del mal di denti con l’antinfiammatorio, non può farti vedere mai il risultato come un farmaco“.
Dottore ma lei che l’ha provato sul suo corpo, può spiegarci come si è sentito dopo essersi vaccinato?
“Come già detto non ho avuto alcun effetto collaterale. E’ una vaccinazione assolutamente normale, come quella che feci per l’influenza. Al massimo ho avuto un po’ di pesantezza nel braccio ma sono reazione normali. E’ importante dire che non è stato fatto in fretta. E’ stato fatto con rapidità grazie ai volontari che hanno reso possibili questi studi. Ed anche grazie ad una sburocratizzazione data dall’emergenza. Che poi i virologi da bar disquisiscono su Fase 1,2 e 3 ma questa è la Fase 4. In questa fase si valutano poi eventi rari, effcacia sul campo e anche valutazioni secondarie, come ad esempio quella di fare un richiamo del vaccino”.
