“Non credevo si dovesse arrivare a questo livello. Sono veramente dispiaciuto, ma credo nella giustizia e ho trovato fondamentale tutelarmi. Due uomini sono stati denunciati per le minacce di morte che ho ricevuto“.

Inizia così il post di Matteo Bassetti, primario del reparto di malattie infettive dell’Ospedale San Martino di Genova. Quest’ultimo aveva ricevuto minacce di morte ed ingiurie gravi, tanto da fargli scegliere di denunciare tutto per difendersi.

Il post prosegue: “Si tratta di due cinquantenni residenti rispettivamente a Trieste e a Cosenza, al centro del fascicolo che l’avvocato @racheldestefanis, che mi assiste nel procedimento, ha presentato alla luce dei contenuti di messaggi inviati tramite social. I due uomini sono stati rintracciati e identificati dalla polizia, che ha effettuato una serie di perquisizioni e sequestri dopo le denunce presentate alla Digos: devono rispondere di diffamazione e minacce. L’intero fascicolo è ora sul tavolo della procura per valutare gli sviluppi della vicenda. Desidero ringraziare lo straordinario lavoro della Polizia postale, della Digos, della magistratura e del mio avvocato @racheldestefanis”.

Bassetti poi conclude: “Sono 5 mesi che ogni giorno qualcuno mi minaccia o mi insulta. La legge sta facendo il suo corso in maniera rapida e sono certo molti altri saranno denunciati nell’attesa del processo“.
