“E’ scoppiata la bomba atomica nella nostra regione, come primo luogo nel mondo occidentale. Questo è il dato di fatto, lo abbiamo raccontato tutti più volte”. Giulio Gallera, assessore al Welfare della Regione Lombardia, a L’aria che tira risponde così sulla gestione dell’emergenza coronavirus.
“Quello che è successo in Lombardia tra febbraio e marzo non ha paragoni con quello che è capitato in Italia nella prima fase. In Lombardia è successo diverse settimane prima rispetto a ciò che è capitato nel resto del mondo. Noi siamo stati colpiti alle spalle nella prima fase. Ora la Lombardia è in linea con altre regioni, per alcuni aspetti sta anche meglio“, aggiunge.
“La situazione deve essere assolutamente tenuta sotto controllo, comprendiamo che il governo abbia varato misure rigide. Ma queste misure devono coniugarsi con il buon senso, altrimenti non vengono capite e adottate. Abbiamo il 70% dei comuni italiani con meno di 5000 abitanti, il 25 dicembre impedire di uscire dal comune a tutte queste persone forse non è una norma di buon senso. E’ una richiesta di tutte le regioni, le norme si rispettano ma devono rispondere al buon senso”, dice riferendosi alle misure appena varate dal governo con decreto e nuovo dpcm.
Gallera è ‘salito alla ribalta’ negli ultimi giorni per aver probabilmente violato le norme relative alla zona arancione. L’assessore, in una mattinata di jogging, ha varcato i confini di Milano. “Correvo lungo un percorso che parte dal centro della città, non mi sono accorto di aver superato i confini di un paio di km… cosa vuole che le dica, mi scuso…”.
