Focolaio Covid ospedale Rovigo – Sono almeno 20 i pazienti, su 30 ricoverati, quelli risultati positivi al Covid-19 all’interno del reparto di geriatria dell’ospedale civile “Santa Maria della Misericordia” di Rovigo.
Si tratta di un focolaio di Coronavirus che vede coinvolti, stando a quanto si apprende, anche un infermiere ed un operatore socio sanitario del reparto che avrebbero scelto di non sottoporsi al vaccino nei giorni scorsi. La notizia è stata confermata dalla direzione sanitaria.
I due farebbero parte di un piccolo gruppo di persone rientranti nel personale sanitario dell’ospedale che avevano rifiutato di sottoporsi al vaccino, previsto prioritariamente proprio per tutti gli operatori sanitari.

Il commissario dell’Ulss5, Antonio Compostella, dopo aver premesso che non è dimostrato il nesso causale tra il rifiuto dei due al vaccino e i contagi in geriatria, ha sottolineato che “sarà valutato se ci sono elementi per una segnalazione dei due dipendenti, o comunque per un provvedimento”.
È di questa mattina invece la conferma della positività al Covid di 110 anziani ospiti della Rsa “Fondazione Villa Giovanni XXIII” di Bitonto, nel Barese.
Il focolaio è stato individuato nei giorni scorsi e in poco tempo sono state attivate le procedure del caso che hanno portato l’Asl pugliese di riferimento a effettuare i tamponi e individuare decine di positivi tra anziani e operatori sanitari.
In alcuni casi è stato necessario il ricovero in ospedale a causa dell’aggravarsi delle condizioni di alcuni. Ieri la notizia del decesso di tre ospiti della struttura pugliese.
