Draghi su vaccini – Conferenza stampa a Palazzo Chigi del premier Mario Draghi. “Con che coscienza la gente salta la fila?”, dice il presidente del Consiglio. Perché, si stupisce, un 35enne non può pensare di prendere la dose di vaccino a chi dal Covid rischia di essere ucciso, le persone fragili o over 75.
Ad aprile, assicura, si potranno vaccinare tutti gli ultraottantenni e gran parte dei settantenni: l’obiettivo di 500mila dosi al giorno è ancora alla portata.
“La disponibilità di vaccini non è calata, i numeri sono come prima di Pasqua, sta risalendo secondo il trend previsto. Non ho dubbio sul fatto che gli obiettivi vengano raggiunti“, ha detto il presidente del Consiglio.
“Sono molto incoraggiato dal clima che c’è: non si possono addossare responsabilità a una parte sola, gli eventi sono stati molto complicati. Ora la fase è dirimente. Vaccinare nelle classi più esposte al rischio è interesse delle regioni per aprire la loro economia in sicurezza”.
“Ho visto Salvini e le Regioni, Anci, poi anche Bersani. C’è un equlibrio. Normale chiedere aperture: la migliore forma di sostegno all’economia sono le aperture, ne sono consapevole. Naturalmente condannare la violenza ma capisco la disperazione e l’alienazione di chi protesta. Voglio vedere nelle prossime settimane di riaprire in sicurezza a partire dalle scuole – ha insistito il presidente del Consiglio -, obiettivo è un mese di presenza“.

‘La stagione turistica? Manca una data. Garavaglia dice a giugno. Speriamo, magari anche prima chi lo sa’, ha aggiunto Draghi. “Non diamo per abbandonata la stagione turistica, tutt’altro”, conclude. “Penso a un piano di riapertura delle fiere e degli eventi: è il miglior messaggio di fiducia al paese. Stiamo guardando al futuro delle prossime settimane”. “Le riaperture dovranno esserci, non ho una data, ci stiamo pensando in questi giorni, dipende dall’andamento dei contagi e dei vaccini“.
“E’ possibile avere collaborazioni tra Paesi mediterranei: l’Italia ha molto da imparare da Grecia e Spagna. Dobbiamo lavorare subito all’accoglienza dei turisti con il passaporto vaccinale”.
“E’ chiaro che ci sono regioni più avanzate nelle vaccinazioni, molte diversità abbastanza insospettabili. Questo dovrà influenzare le riaperture: per le Regioni che sono molto avanti con fragili e i più vulnerabili sarà più facile riaprire”, ha detto Draghi. E sul Lazio: “C’è stato un disguido, che sappia io. Figliuolo è perfettamente al corrente e consapevole e quello è stato chiarito con la Regione Lazio. Sono molto ottimista sull’andamento del piano vaccinale e soprattutto sul clima di collaborazione che c’è oggi tra Regioni e Stato. Figliuolo è attivo, visita un numero di regioni straordinario ogni giorno”.
“Il 30 aprile è la data di scadenza del periodo previsto nell’ultimo decreto” per le misure anti contagio da Covid, “ma lì si dice anche che qualora l’andamento delle vaccinazioni e dei contagi mostrasse la possibilità, si possono riconsiderare le cose anche prima. Il governo sta lavorando su tutto questo. Avere date significa conoscere esattamente i parametri rilevanti a una certa data. In tutto questo c’è la volontà del governo di vedere le prossime settimane come di riaperture non di chiusure”, ha spiegato il premier.
“Non esistono regioni o Stato: esistiamo noi”, ha sottolineato a proposito della campagna vaccinale confermando poi che l’obiettivo delle 500mila vaccinazioni al giorno sarà rispettato.
“Ci sarà una direttiva di Figliuolo” sulle vaccinazioni delle persone fragili “e poi vedremo come inserire con i ministri il parametro delle vaccinazioni delle categorie a rischio tra i parametri che si usano per autorizzare le riaperture. Pensate quant’è importante soprattutto per la riapertura delle scuole, soprattutto per quelle dei più grandi: uno dei criteri per chiudere era che tornavano a casa e contagiavano i nonni”.
E su AstraZeneca: “Nei dati il crollo di fiducia in AstraZeneca si vede meno di quanto uno potesse aspettarsi. Continueremo a dare un messaggio rassicurante, che non viene dato a cuor leggero ma con grande serietà, partecipazione, comprensione. Io mi sono vaccinato con AstraZeneca e mia moglie anche”.
