Non credo si possa far tornare in classe i ragazzi delle superiori».

«No, è impossibile. Dobbiamo evitare qualunque tipo di contatto per arginare il virus. La situazione non migliorerà per permettere il rientro tra i banchi dei ragazzi adolescenti. Anzi, nelle prossime settimane potrebbero aumentare le zone rosse».
Quindi nuove restrizioni nelle scuole?
«Sì, con l’aumento delle zone rosse aumenterebbero le classi di II e III media in didattica a distanza».

I bambini delle scuole elementari e medie invece possono restare in presenza?
«Non abbiamo molte certezze sulla trasmissione del virus, possiamo solo fare riferimento agli studi pubblicati, anche all’estero. E gli studi, ad oggi, ci dicono che i bambini da 1 a 10 anni, quindi diciamo dal nido alla quinta elementare, si ammalano poco e trasmettono poco il virus. Si ammalano di più i ragazzini da 10 fino a 13 anni, quindi per loro le classi devono restare chiuse nelle zone più a rischio».
Poi ci sono i liceali.
«Appunto, i ragazzi delle superiori sono decisamente più infettivi: si vede anche dalla trasmissione dei contagi in quella fascia di età. Il rischio maggiore, a livello scolastico, riguarda loro. Più si va avanti con l’età più si rischia».
