“Dai dati in nostro possesso la percentuale dei pazienti in terapia intensiva rispetto ai posti letto attivati è pari al 22% che scende al 18% attivando tutte le postazioni attivabili”.
Lo ha detto il commissario straordinario all’emergenza Coronavirus, Domenico Arcuri, durante la riunione operativa convocata dal ministro degli Affari regionali, Francesco Boccia.
Presenti anche i presidenti delle Regioni.
La riunione ha avuto come argomenti test, terapie intensive e risorse delle reti ospedaliere per fronteggiare la seconda ondata del Covid-19.
“Abbiamo inviato una mail alle Regioni con la richiesta dei fabbisogni per le terapie intensive in modo da poter alleggerire il carico negli ospedali. Appena avremo raccolto i loro riscontri procederemo con una nuova distribuzione di materiali“, ha sottolineato il commissario.
“Al momento, in base ai materiali già inviati nei mesi precedenti dalla struttura commissariale, sono attivabili ancora 1.445 posti di terapia intensiva. Le Regioni si stanno già attrezzando per attivarli. Sono già nelle disponibilità altri 1.849 ventilatori pronti per la distribuzione”.
“Oggi dobbiamo dare un messaggio chiaro al Paese e tranquillizzare i cittadini. Sono immediatamente attivabili in tempo reale oltre 10.300 posti di terapia intensiva, tra quelli già attivi nelle singole Regioni e quelli attivabili grazie ai materiali inviati dal commissario”. Queste le parole del ministro degli Affari regionali, Francesco Boccia, nel corso della riunione.
