Come funziona App Immuni? E’ la domanda che si è fatta la redazione del programma di Italia 1 Le Iene. Il sito internet del programma di inchieste ha pubblicato un interessantissimo focus sulle ultime notizie in merito alll’App Immuni. In questo focus è emerso il dato di quanti positivi ha scovato l’App. Ecco il testo dell’articolo de Le Iene:
“Altro che Immuni, altro che tracciamento: è fantascienza”. La dura accusa dell’ex candidato a presidente della Liguria, adesso consigliere regionale, Ferruccio Sansa, è sembrata un fulmine a ciel sereno contro l’app di tracciamento scelta dal governo per la lotta al coronavirus.
Mentre i partiti di maggioranza festeggiano i numeri via via crescenti di download dell’applicazione, Sansa – che ha contratto il coronavirus – ha detto che l’Asl gli avrebbe risposto “non sappiamo cosa bisogna farne” di Immuni.
Come funziona App Immuni? La risposta de Le Iene
Una versione che è stata smentita dall’Asl3 ligure, che ha affermato di aver rispettato il protocollo previsto nei casi di positività al Covid-19. Ma che ha riacceso una domanda: l’app Immuni sta funzionando? Il numero crescente dei download è davvero significativo?
Per capirlo bisogna leggere i dati: al 9 ottobre, secondo i numeri forniti dalla pagina ufficiale di Immuni, sono 8 milioni e 140 mila i download dell’app. Se ogni download corrispondesse a una persona fisica, circa il 20% di chi poteva scaricarla l’avrebbe fatto.
Ma c’è un ma da sottolineare subito: il numero di download non corrisponde necessariamente al numero di persone che l’hanno scaricata. E’ infatti possibile che un cittadino scarichi l’app, la rimuova e poi la scarichi nuovamente. Oppure che l’app sia scaricata su più dispositivi in uso alla stessa persona.
Non sappiamo quindi quante siano effettivamente le persone che hanno scaricato Immuni. E soprattutto, non sappiamo quante persone una volta scaricata l’app l’abbiano mantenuta o l’abbiano correttamente installata: il governo, sentito da Agendadigitale.eu, sostiene di non aver accesso a quel dato.
Il che ovviamente è un grosso problema: se l’app è scaricata e non installata, è come non averla affatto. Il lato positivo, almeno, è che il numero dei download è in crescita: a inizio settembre erano poco più di 5 milioni di download, oggi sono oltre 8. Ma purtroppo senza sapere quanti di quegli 8 milioni siano effettivamente attivi, il dato dice poco o nulla di quanto stia effettivamente funzionando Immuni.
Per capirlo allora è meglio leggere altri numeri: quante sono le persone risultate positive che hanno inserito i loro dati nell’app? Quante hanno ricevuto un alert per il contatto con un positivo? Quante hanno scoperto di aver contratto il coronavirus grazie a Immuni?
Secondo quanto risulta sul sito di Immuni, al 9 ottobre sono 477 gli utenti che hanno scoperto di essere positivi e hanno caricato le loro chiavi di backend per avvertire i contatti a rischio. Perché, occorre ricordarlo, Immuni non comunica direttamente questa informazione ai suoi utenti: deve essere la persona risultata positiva ad attivare la procedura.
Le notifiche inviate dall’app per i contatti a rischio sono state 8.300. E – secondo quanto riporta Agendadigitale.eu – le persone che hanno scoperto di essere positive grazie al contact tracking di Immuni sono 13, erano 8 un mese fa secondo quanto riporta Agi: per fare il confronto, sarebbe lo 0,22% dei positivi registrati ieri dal bollettino della Protezione civile.
Ma quel numero, 13 positivi, si riferisce all’intero periodo di funzionamento dell’app, quindi dal 15 giugno in tutta Italia. Da quel giorno sono state 112.204 le persone contagiate dal coronavirus: di queste lo 0,01% sono state trovate grazie a Immuni.
