Burioni denuncia la situazione in cui versa l’Italia con i numerosi contagi da Covid che crescono giorno dopo giorno. Il noto virologo Roberto Burioni ha affidato a Twitter il suo pensiero in data 30 ottobre 2020. Ecco il suo messaggio:

Burioni parlava invece così ieri sempre in merito alle ultime notizie sui contagi in Italia:
“Ancora non abbiamo capito che il virus ha un andamento esponenziale: una persona ne può infettare due, queste due ne infettano quattro… Poi arriviamo a mille persone che ne infettano duemila, questo virus può saturare i nostri ospedali e finché non avremo armi per combatterlo dobbiamo usare l’isolamento e la quarantena. Ritengo che il lockdown sia una scelta politica, trovare il punto di compensazione tra crisi sanitaria e conseguenze economiche“.
“Se si satureranno ospedali e terapie intensive, le persone saranno curate peggio. Non abbiamo un farmaco risolutivo, ma abbiamo imparato a curare meglio le persone. Ma ci devono essere le possibilità di curare le persone. Come conciliare le esigenze dei vari cittadini è responsabilità della politica, è importante non commettere l’errore di sottovalutare la situazione che io definisco grave“.
