Così lo shopping natalizio provoca subito la reazione di politica e scienziati.
Per il presidente della Regione Piemonte, Alberto Cirio, “quello che è successo ieri a Torino” è “inaccettabile”.
La folla che si è riversata nel centro città nella prima giornata di riapertura dei negozi, dopo quasi un mese di lockdown per contenere il contagio, finisce quindi sul tavolo del Comitato per l’ordine e la sicurezza con il prefetto, programmato per la giornata.
“Ho fatto un’ordinanza precisa per disciplinare i centri commerciali, per la rilevazione della febbre e lo scaglionamento degli ingressi”, aggiunge Cirio. “Quindi, dove ho potuto intervenire con ordinanze regionali l’ho fatto. Ma quello che ho visto ieri in alcune vie di Torino mi riporta con la mente all’estate e questo non possiamo permettercelo”. Per questo, annuncia Cirio, “chiederò al prefetto di Torino interventi rigorosissimi. So che è già stato fatto tanto, che le forze dell’ordine si sono impegnate ma evidentemente non basta”.

Duro anche il commento del ministro degli Affari Regionali Francesco Boccia: “È inevitabile che quando si riaprono attività commerciali ci sia la voglia di tornare in giro, è naturale la reazione – ha detto a Rainews24 – ma quello che non può essere naturale è non rispettare le regole”.

Mentre il coordinatore del Cts, Agostino Miozzo, suggerisce: “Mi chiedo: perché se in via del Corso a Roma o nelle strade dello shopping di altre città ci sono troppe persone, non si interviene e non si impone il numero chiuso?”, dice a Il Messaggero. “Mi pare difficile spiegare che è necessario limitare gli spostamenti tra Regioni se si accetta che, per gli acquisti di Natale, ci siano assembramenti per strada o nei centri commerciali”.

“Male, molto male” le scene di folla per la sottosegretaria alla Salute, Sandra Zampa. “È abbastanza sconcertante – commenta ai microfoni di Radio24 – che le persone stentino così tanto a comprendere la gravità della situazione e il fatto che queste situazioni dipendono dai comportamenti di ognuno di noi”. “Siamo tutti tenuti in questo momento a comportamenti virtuosi. Io capisco che devi fare le compere, però non credo che se si va tutti lo stesso giorno migliori. E soprattutto, quando vedi che c’è una situazione così, o cambi zona o torni a casa e rimandi. Questo non è un bel segnale, non conforta”.
Shopping Natale, Galli: “Rischiamo seriamente terza ondata”
Di fronte alle immagini arrivate dalle vie dello shopping, l’infettivologo Massimo Galli sottolinea che “è evidente” che “se non si mantengono le precauzioni non potremo che rivedere una situazione simile a quella che abbiamo già vissuto”, arrivando cioè a una nuova ripresa del contagio.
“È fatale che sia così”, dice il primario dell’ospedale Sacco di Milano avvertendo che “abbiamo ancora moltissimo virus che circola”. Troppo, in tutto il Paese, “per pensare di tornare a un liberi tutti appena avuto un accenno di risultato” dalle restrizioni disposte contro la seconda ondata. Quanto al cambio di colore scattato domenica nelle Regioni che da rosse sono diventate arancioni, il passaggio da una fascia di rischio all’altro “non è un merito. Non è una gara”, ammonisce l’infettivologo. Nel dibattito politico, osserva Galli, “il punto sembra essere cambiare colore”. Invece dovrebbe essere “tenere la situazione a lungo termine il più possibile al di fuori dal pericolo di una ripresa” dell’onda dei contagi.
“Mi rendo perfettamente conto delle esigenze dell’economia e del commercio – precisa il medico – ma la salute della gente è un problema importante e la ripresa economica del Paese si misura anche sulla capacità di contenere e limitare i danni costantemente causati dall’epidemia”.
Quindi sottolinea: “Se dovessimo ricadere di nuovo a pieno titolo in una situazione come quella che abbiamo vissuto già per la seconda volta, e questo avvenisse come probabile prima che si possa intervenire con un vaccino efficace, credo che anche tutto quel che vien detto in termini di difesa dell’economia subirebbe dei danni”.
