Una vita spesa per gli altri lavorando come insegnante meritava un finale all’altezza. Per questo la genovese morta il 9 dicembre scorso a 96 anni, prima di andarsene ha scritto di suo pugno sia il suo necrologio che il testamento. La donna ha lasciato ben 25 milioni di euro a 16 enti, per lo più liguri. Come l’ospedale Gaslini e il Galliera, cui è andata anche una prestigiosa villa.
Donna molto riservata, Marisa è rimasta molto lucida fino alla fine dei suoi giorni. Ma il testamento era stato preparato da più di otto anni ed era rimasto segreto fino all’ultimo.

La signora Cavanna ha lasciato gran parte del suo patrimonio a istituzioni, associazioni e onlus.
Quasi cinque milioni di euro andranno all’ente ospedaliero Galliera, insieme ai ricavi della vendita al miglior offerente del prestigioso edificio in via Giordano Bruno a Genova, situato in una spettacolare posizione a due passi dal mare, dove Marisa viveva. Il valore dell’immobile dovrebbe aggirarsi sui 3 milioni di euro.
Tutti gli arredi sono stati lasciati alla congregazione Don Orione di Genova, a cui è andato un altro ottavo del patrimonio Cavanna in titoli e contanti (per 5 milioni circa).
Cinque milioni sono stati destinati all’ospedale pediatrico Gaslini e altrettanti all’Associazione italiana per la ricerca sul Cancro. Circa 4 milioni sono poi finiti ad Amnesty International, Amici senza frontiere, Save the Children, Fondazione Don Carlo Gnocchi, Associazione italiana Amici di Roul Follereau, Lega del Filo d’oro, Suore missionarie della carità opera Madre Teresa di Calcutta, Piccole suore dei poveri, Fondazione Opera S. Francesco dei Poveri, Associazioni Missioni Don Bosco e Opera d’Assistenza ‘Progetto sorriso nel mondo’.
Nel lascito testamentario di Marisa Cavanna però non c’è solo beneficenza. Sono infatti stati inclusi anche la nipote (figlia del fratello), degli amici, e anche la badante, a cui andrebbero circa 3,7 milioni di euro.
