Incendio Battipaglia – Una donna bulgara di 57 anni è morta a seguito di un incendio divampato questa mattina in un’abitazione di via Padova a Battipaglia, in provincia di Salerno.
La vittima lavorava come badante alle dipendenze di due coniugi di 88 e 86 anni. Gli investigatori, secondo una prima ricostruzione, ipotizzano che la donna si sia spesa per mettere in salvo i due anziani ma poi è rientrata in casa per provare a recuperare qualcosa, non riuscendo più ad uscire a causa delle fiamme e dei fumi e perdendo la vita.

I due coniugi sono stati soccorsi e ricoverati in ospedale a Battipaglia ma le loro condizioni non destano preoccupazioni.
Secondo i primi rilievi effettuati da carabinieri e vigili del fuoco, il rogo è stato provocato dal malfunzionamento di una stufa a Gpl che era accesa in camera da letto. Gli investigatori hanno appurato che non vi è stata perdita di gas e che le fiamme potrebbero essere state innescate da un qualcosa che ha fatto contatto con la stufa.
L’incendio ha interessato tutta l’abitazione che è quasi totalmente carbonizzata. La salma della badante 57enne è stata affidata al medico legale per un primo esame esterno.
