Nelle ultime settimane, dopo essere stata al centro delle cronache nella prima ondata di Covid per quella foto simbolo che la ritraeva stremata sulla scrivania del pronto soccorso, si era chiusa in una sorta di silenzio. Ieri, Elena Pagliarini, infermiera all’ospedale Maggiore di Cremona, è tornata a parlare su Facebook.
Lo ha fatto con un post dai toni chiari: «Grande preoccupazione per il pranzo di Natale… preoccupatevi di non farlo in ospedale, o magari di non farli mai più, i pranzi», ha scritto in un momento in cui l’Italia guarda all’arrivo delle festività. Non solo commenti positivi, sotto al post ripreso da molti utenti.
C’è chi la insulta, chi la accusa di fare terrorismo. E sono molti: «È bastata una fotografia a renderti famosa, ora pensa al tuo lavoro», si legge. E ancora: «Adesso gli infermieri che sono crollati sul tavolo dell’ospedale si elevano a paladini della Sanità, permettendosi di dare consigli sulla vita della gente». E dire che, quando uscì quella foto, l’infermiera Elena diventò un simbolo elogiato da tutti.
Lo scatto che la ritraeva al termine di un turno di lavoro in uno dei «fronti caldi» della prima ondata le valse il titolo di Cavaliere al merito della Repubblica, assegnato dal Presidente Mattarella. Era marzo.

A immortalare quel momento fu Francesca Mangiatordi, medico del pronto soccorso a Cremona.
Lei, che a distanza di qualche giorno si sarebbe dovuta fermare per qualche settimana dopo essersi contagiata, subito aveva parlato di «un momento di sconforto» e al Corriere aveva raccontato come andò: «Il turno stava per finire e io mi sentivo impotente. Prima di addormentarmi sulla scrivania avevo pianto a dirotto. Da un lato mi imbarazza trovarmi su tutti i giornali, dall’altro sono contenta: ora sul cellulare arrivano messaggi bellissimi da parte di persone che si sono immedesimate nella mia storia».
Fino al post di oggi, che da una parte raccoglie consensi e dall’altra indignazione.
