E’ finita in tragedia la vicenda del 70enne bloccato questa mattina in ambulanza a Napoli.
L’uomo, paziente Covid-19, è morto poco fa nel triage dell’ospedale Cotugno dopo aver tentato invano nelle ultime ore di ricoverarsi. A rivelarlo i familiari alla redazione di Tele Club Italia.
La vittima è un uomo della zona collinare di Napoli, affetto da diabete e ipertensione.
Nei giorni scorsi si è ammalato di coronavirus. Dopo aver consultato il medico di base, i familiari hanno tentato di farlo ricoverare.
Ieri i sanitari del 118 però gli hanno prospettato l’ipotesi di un trasferimento in Sicilia, visto che a Napoli non ci sarebbe attualmente più disponibilità di posti.
Sempre secondo il racconto dei parenti a Tele Club Italia, questa mattina, dopo ulteriori telefonate al pronto intervento, l’ambulanza ha finalmente preso in carico il 70enne.
Prima l’ha portato all’ospedale vecchio Pellegrini, senza successo. Dopo un’attesa lunga più di un’ora, i paramedici del 118 lo hanno dirottato al Cotugno.
Tuttavia anche nell’ospedale specializzato nel reparto di malattie infettive non ci sarebbe stata possibilità di ricovero.
L’uomo avrebbe così stazionato nel triage del nosocomio in attesa che si liberasse un posto.
Qui avrebbe accusato una crisi respiratoria e sarebbe morto, nonostante i tentativi di rianimazione del personale della struttura sanitaria.
Sull’episodio adesso farà luce probabilmente la magistratura.
