Una voce che ha trovato triste conferma. Il Gran Bar Riviera, esercizio storico di Chiaia, a Napoli, chiude e finisce nelle mani dei curatori fallimentari.

Il messaggio è comparso nelle scorse ore in un cartello esposto nella vetrina dello storico locale: “Tribunale di Napoli VII Sezione Fallimentare. Avviso esplorativo per richiesta manifestazione di interesse all’acquisto del bar e del laboratorio di pasticceria”.

Il Gran Bar Riviera è dunque in vendita e non sono mancate le telefonate interessate di imprenditori che si dicono disponibili a rilevare il locale, strozzato dalla crisi dovuta al Covid ma non solo. Il locale ha attraversato diverse gestioni accumulando debiti per circa un milione di euro, come scrive Repubblica. Il fallimento odierno lascia senza lavoro 12 dipendenti.

Come confermano a Il Mattino Fabio Chiosi e Francesco De Giovanni, rispettivamente assessore e presidente della Municipalità 1, “c’è un curatore fallimentare che ha preso in carico la questione dello storico Bar Riviera. Quell’attività mancherà a tutti. Purtroppo il Covid, l’assenza di turisti che dura da ormai più di un anno e gli interminabili lavori della metropolitana hanno distrutto questa attività che tutti noi ricordiamo fin da quando eravamo bambini. È un duro colpo per la città. Il Bar Riviera non è certo l’unico ad aver chiuso in zona. Ristoranti, ma anche hotel e negozi di vendita al dettaglio non esistono più. La Riviera di Chiaia, in sostanza, è una strada senza più economia. Il futuro atteso non è mai arrivato”.

Bar Riviera in fallimento, non è l’unico caso a Napoli

Anche i locali storici di Napoli sono infatti in difficoltà per gli effetti dell’epidemia. Tra chiusure e un giro degli affari che, anche nei momenti di parziale riapertura, non ha mai consentito incassi tali da uscire dalle ‘secche’ della crisi.

Nei giorni scorsi il Bar Nilo, il “Caffè del Capello di Maradona”, ha preannunciato la chiusura per i conti in rosso di decine di migliaia di euro. A metà febbraio a tirare giù la serranda era stato GoodFellas, il locale del Vomero famoso tra gli amanti della musica.

Nel novembre dello scorso anno aveva chiuso anche il Gran Caffè Gambrinus, autentica “autorità” a Napoli che nel 2020 aveva anche festeggiato 160 anni di attività. Tre mesi di chiusura (riapertura poi avvenuta l’8 febbraio scorso) motivati dall’attesa di “tempi migliori” perché, come disse a novembre Antonio Sergio, tra i proprietari del caffè, “sono allo stremo delle mie possibilità” e “con le limitazioni previste, non possiamo andare avanti”.
