Gli avrebbe fatto inalare vapori velenosi estratti da un rospo psichedelico provocandone la morte. È stato quindi accusato di omicidio colposo Nacho Vidal, il famoso attore a luci rosse spagnolo 47enne, il cui vero nome è Ignacio Jordà González. I fatti si sono svolti il 28 luglio del 2019. La vittima si chiama Jose Luis Abad, ed è un fotografo di moda che si sarebbe rivolto a Nacho Vidal per sottoporsi a questa specie di rituale sciamanico con lo scopo di liberarsi dalla dipendenza della cocaina. 

Così l’attore spagnolo, il Rocco Siffredi di Spagna, secondo quanto ricostruito dal Sun, avrebbe somministrato al fotografo questo estratto di veleno tossico del rospo del fiume Colorado con la promessa che sarebbe bastato questo a farlo uscire dalla dipendenza della cocaina. L’animale in questione era il “bufo alvarius”, sulla cui schiena si trovano ghiandole che secernono sostanze dagli effetti allucinogeni.

Il rituale è stato anche filmato con un telefonino. Nel video, girato dal cugino di Nacho Vidal e della durata di 22 minuti, si vede il fotografo Abad inalare il veleno del rospo cristallizzato. E dopo 20 secondi di inalazione, si nota lo stesso fotografo iniziare a contorcersi e singhiozzare. Il tutto mentre attorno altre due aiutanti di Vidal suonano tamburelli e campane.

Il video prosegue e immortala la vittima stare sempre più male, diventare blu in volto, e Vidal che, capita la situazione, prova a fare un massaggio cardiaco esortando il cugino a chiamare un’ambulanza. I soccorsi, giunti poco dopo, non hanno potuto far altro che constatare la morte del fotografo.

Così, dopo 11 mesi di indagine, Nacho Vidal, il cugino e un dipendente sono stati arrestati con le accuse di omicidio colposo e crimini contro la salute pubblica.

Attualmente, gli indagati sono in libertà provvisoria e, se condannati, rischiano fino a 9 anni di carcere. Finora, l’attore ha sempre negato davanti ai magistrati di essere uno sciamano, insistendo sul fatto per cui la morte di Abad sarebbe stata un incidente.

La posizione processuale di Vidal è molto grave poiché gli investigatori affermano di avere scoperto che i rituali venivano eseguiti da lui regolarmente. L’attore li spacciava come pratiche dai benefici medici.
