A confermare di aver contratto il virus è proprio lui, su Twitter.
“La First Lady ed io siamo risultati positivi al Covid-19. Iniziamo subito la quarantena e il processo di guarigione. INSIEME ce la faremo!”.

Qualche ora prima del risultato del test, proprio quest’ultimo aveva confermato che Hope Hicks, una delle sue più fidate consigliere, giovedì era risultata positiva.
Notizia abbastanza shock, tanto da far sottoporre Trump e sua moglie Melania al tampone, poi risultato positivo.
Sia martedì che mercoledì, infatti, Hicks aveva viaggiato con Donald Trump, senza mascherina, accompagnandolo a Cleveland, dove il Tycoon ha sostenuto il primo dibattito televisivo della campagna 2020 contro Joe Biden.
Successivamente Hope Hicks era stata al suo fianco anche a Duluth, in Minnesota, dove Trump aveva svolto un comizio all’aperto.
Il medico del Presidente degli Stati Uniti ha affermato che Melania e Donald stanno bene, nonostante la positività, e che quest’ultimo continuerà a portare a termine i suoi compiti senza interruzioni.
La Casa Bianca, però, ovviamente, ha annullato il suo viaggio programmato in Florida, altra tappa della campagna elettorale che ora potrebbe essere a rischio.
