Michele Messuri, tragica storia dalla provincia di Caserta. Si indaga sulla morte di Michele Messuri, un uomo di 46 anni di Bellona, nella provincia di Caserta, deceduto nella sua abitazione lo scorso 16 febbraio.
La famiglia della vittima ha sporto denuncia alle forze dell’ordine, dal momento che, secondo quanto denunciano, l’equipaggio del 118 intervenuto per soccorrere l’uomo si sarebbe rifiutato di trasportarlo in ospedale, per evitare che il 46enne potesse contrarre il Coronavirus.
Sulla vicenda indaga la Procura della Repubblica di Santa Maria Capua Vetere, che ha aperto un fascicolo per omicidio colposo a carico dei due medici dell’ambulanza. Come fa sapere la Procura, l’iscrizione dei sanitari nel registro degli indagati è “un atto dovuto”, per permettere ai loro rappresentanti legali di assistere all’autopsia disposta sul corpo del 46enne.

Secondo quanto denunciato dai famigliari della vittima, Michele Messuri, che soffriva di epilessia, lo scorso 15 febbraio comincia ad accusare problemi respiratori gravi, a tal punto che nel pomeriggio i parenti richiedono l’intervento di un’ambulanza del 118.
Quando i sanitari arrivano nell’abitazione di Michele, nella quale vive con la madre, il 46enne ha già la febbre alta: dopo avergli misurato la saturazione e altri parametri, i sanitari gli prescrivono antibiotici e cortisonici, senza però sottoporlo a tampone.
Il 16 febbraio, le condizioni di Michele Messuri peggiorano: oltre alla febbre e ai problemi respiratori, il 46enne perde sangue dal naso e dalla bocca. Il 118 torna nell’abitazione, ma i sanitari si limitano a sottoporre il 46enne agli stessi esami del giorno precedente, prescrivendogli la medesima terapia.
Alla richiesta di portarlo in ospedale dei famigliari, i sanitari del 118 avrebbero risposto che avrebbe rischiato di contrarre il Coronavirus. Nel pomeriggio del 16 febbraio, i problemi respiratori del 46enne si intensificano: quando l’ambulanza giunge nuovamente sul posto, per Michele non c’è più niente da fare.
