Brutto incidente per Fernando Alonso.
Il pilota spagnolo di Formula 1, che dal 28 marzo avrebbe dovuto correre il Mondiale 2021 tornado ufficialmente nel Circus col team Alpine Renault, è stato investito da un’auto mentre si allenava in bici tra le strade di Lugano, in Svizzera. Fortunatamente non è in pericolo di vita ed è stato prontamente soccorso e trasportato inizialmente in ospedale a Lugano, poi trasferito in quello di Berna, dove dai primi esami radiografici si evidenziano delle fratture alla mandibola e ai denti.
Il due volte iridato rischia così di non esserci al primo GP in Bahrain e non solo. Una doccia fredda per Fernando che proprio in questi giorni si stava allenando più che mai, condividendo sui social le sue foto in bici, e non vedeva l’ora di tornare a guidare una monoposto Renault, scuderia con la quale ha vinto i titoli nel 2005 e 2006. Gli esami medici nelle prossime ore confermeranno le condizioni di salute dello spagnolo.

A confermare l’accaduto è anche la scuderia Alpine Renault su Twitter con una nota ufficiale. “Il team Alpine F1 conferma che Fernando Alonso è stato coinvolto in un incidente stradale mentre pedalava in Svizzera. Fernando è cosciente e sta bene, è in attesa di futuri accertamenti medici che svolgerà nella mattina di domani. Ulteriori comunicazioni verranno diffuse nella giornata di domani”.
