Alex Zanardi, ultime news dall’ospedale. Le ultime notizie sulle condizioni di Alessandro Zanardi, ricoverato in terapia intensiva al San Raffaele dopo l’incidente di giugno.
Il campione paralimpico il 19 giugno, durante una staffetta di beneficenza in handbike, era rimasto coinvolto in un tragico incidente sulla Statale 146.
Zanardi aveva perso il controllo del mezzo, finendo per scontrarsi con un camion.
Immediatamente sottoposto a un intervento neurochirurgico e maxillo-facciale al policlinico le Scotte di Siena, è stato successivamente, per delle complicanze, trasferito al San Raffaele.
Piccoli passi avanti per Alex Zanardi, nonostante un quadro che resta complesso.
Qui sotto il testo del comunicato odierno dell’ospedale San Raffaele.
“Il signor Alex Zanardi, ricoverato dal 24 luglio scorso, sta affrontando un percorso di cure sub-intensive, predisposto da una équipe multidisciplinare coordinata dai professori Luigi Beretta, direttore della Neurorianimazione, Mario Bussi, direttore di Otorinolaringoiatria, Sandro Iannaccone, direttore della Neuroriabilitazione, e Pietro Mortini, direttore della Neurochirurgia.
Contemporaneamente è iniziato un ulteriore percorso chirurgico volto alla ricostruzione cranio facciale.
Un primo intervento è già stato eseguito con successo, alcuni giorni fa, dal professor Mario Bussi ed è già in programmazione per le prossime settimane, un secondo intervento che sarà eseguito dal professor Pietro Mortini.
Da diversi giorni Zanardi è sottoposto a sedute di riabilitazione cognitiva e motoria, con somministrazione di stimoli visivi e acustici, ai quali il paziente risponde con transitori e iniziali segni di interazione con l’ambiente“.
